UND up 19-17 in set 1

Oregon is a neulion school, so perhaps they will end up on UND insider like the Miami and Omaha hockey games. Otherwise at least the Oregon game should be on Pac12 network.

I'm down with this, but with a twist. Let's take this game to the people of North Dakota. One game on campus each each year, and the second out west. So one year you are at NDSU and the Minot State Dome, and the next you are at the Betty and the Bismarck Civic Center. I would probably do the western games as doubleheaders and have the women play to and do it up with a fanfest type atmosphere - really let both schools promote themselves. I'm not sure of the seating capacities, but there might be some other sites that would be doable - Jamestown Civic probably seats enough. I don't think Dickinson or Williston has a large enough facility as of now, but that could change. Agree that it's much preferable to the games against the likes of Presentation College and Minnesota-Morris.

I think bad blood happens by UND beating the Montanas, not NDSU. I couldn't really care less what NDSU does on the football field or anywhere else for that matter.

Watching the Grey Cup and Weston Dressler just had a sweet TD catch to put the nail in the coffin of the Ti-Cats going up 45-16. Gotta think Hajdu is rejoicing! Congrats to the Riders, winning the Cup on their home field!

UND has the athletes this year to really make some noise. This is going to be an exciting season. Hopefully the students show up and make the Betty a house of horrors for Big Sky opponents.

Is this a UND broadcast or the Summit League game of the week? Why is the NDSU coach being interviewed at the half? We don't need to be selling our nearest geographic rival. It's bad enough when they refer to the Summit League as "our DI conference", but to pimp NDSU on our own broadcast just grinds my gears.

Schuler the shooter. Keep the patient play. UND is the better club.

Portland St. up 8-3 in set 5. Not lookin good.

Portland St. takes set 4. It's going to a 5th set in Pocatello.

ISU wins game 2 to even it up the match with Portland St.

Portland State wins game 1 against Idaho St. Need the Bengals to come back and give us the top seed and put next years tourney in the Betty.

Are we afraid to get a goalie to move side to side on a power play? Always seem to be going for a blast from the point rather than trying to set up a one timer on a moving goalie.

Our signature win will come March 20 in Spokane, Washington. And it might not be the only one.

I wonder if the Midco could work out such a deal with Root or Altitude, but then ensure that the games are blacked out on those channels by the satellite providers in say North and South Dakota. That would seem to be the optimal answer for UND and Midco.

I'd put out a feeler to Ray Purpur and see if there is a hungry young coach on the Stanford staff. Rather have someone connected to a winning program like Stanford (also nice that they are on the West Coast) than a sad sack program like Minnesota.

Depends on if they want to play right away. Looking at it from that perspective a kid might think he can come in and play right away, with not a lot of upper-classman talent blocking the path.

Wonder if Bartels will see the field today? Mollberg just seems to be lacking confidence right now. Defense isn't playing too bad.

Now we just need to get more men's basketball on Midco. It's disappointing that neither the Weber St. or Montana games will be covered.

Just goes to show how important non-conference wins are in all sports when you are looking for NCAA tourney bids.
