Way to finish the half strong!

I'd like to see something downfield. Most of the passing has been west coast offense type stuff. Need to build some confidence on those throws.

Getting a little cute. Just run the ball.

This is a fair comment. Some on here are acting like a midco broadcast has never successfully happened. Thursday sucked but Im not aure what better option is out there. Maybe if UND had won the broadcast license that went to BEK and produces nothing local or of value we would have an alternative. The Forum Communications monopoly has been devastating for North Dakota.

Home game is an economic benefit for the whole community. If I'm a sponsor I want a home game I can send some customers to or build a promotion around. When you factor i. The travel for a bodybag game it doesn't make much sense. Home games are the way to go.

I will. I have problems with them frequently. Meanwhile mlb can get me broadcasts with multiple options and from every bumblef*** mnorleague stadium and even Dominican winter league games.

ESPN working like a champ as usual. 😏

Crazy thing is if you can get the last wild card, its doable to make the world series. The 3 best teams in AL are on other side of the bracket and will be beating each other up while wild card 3 just has to beat the 2 weaker division winners. MLB should take from PWHL and allow top seed to pick which wild card team they play.

They've historically been pretty committed to hoops as well. 11 Final Fours ain't no joke. A lot of talent has flowed through there. Admittedly, past decade hasn't been to previous standards but from mid 90s to about 2015 definitely a top 10 program. With their resources, a resurgence is highly likely, especially with Michigan just winning a title.

Not a lot of options for cheap buy teams to ensure home games. Patriot league teams have much easier travel options. Pioneer options are Drake. Butler, Valpo and St. Thomas. We got San Diego a few years ago. But they also have better travel options with Big Sky opponents.

2025-26 University of North Dakota Hockey Season

Agreed, this isn't like when Bo Schembechler fired Ernie Harwell in 1991. And the IHeart layoffs kind of forced UNDs hand. It would be ideal if they let him do a series of interviews or features like they have Virg Foss do. A Hennessy hockey podcast would be great. Not as rigorous as having to do PxP but keeps him involved with the program. -
The fact that athletic departments are looking to get bailed out by private equity should tell you sports run at a big loss. I hate to say it but athletics are the Costco hot dog of academia.
-
If im the Fargo Force i look at trying to get landons rights. Worth a flyer.
-
Ottawa could be in play now.

Almost everything private equity touches goes bad for any customers or anyone other than the firm. This is playing with fire.

Hope you see a Mo Salah goal or two.

2026-27 University of North Dakota Hockey Season

Unfortunately it's a Saturday night so TSN is out. Would be great to get that game into Canada. -
Just not a fan of island greens so I feel like it's too punitive when a small gust of wind or something doesnt reward a good shot. I absolutely adore the US Open, but I feel the same when greens get baked and can't hold shots. Don't mind high rough because not supposed to hit it there.
-
Agree it pales in comparison to other 3, dont think moving it to May helped. Personally disagree on Players though, as I think Sawgrass is overhyped and 17 is gimmicky. But im old school and love the US open on tough tracks and the Open with lots of rough weather and carnage, and no what it has generally been in recent years, links golf with scores you see at the 3M Open or John Deere Classic.

Would love to see the Twins sign Andrew McCutcheon just for some veteran leadership on this young team. Cutch is a class act and I think he could impart a lot onto the next generation on hiw to be a professional and do things the right way. Probably won't happen as I know he doesn't have much production left in the tank, but even over a short time could be a great influence.
-
Hopefully that continues and UND doesn't feel pressured into being a lemming going over the FBS cliff.
-
Interesting that UND and USD rated as high capacity while the marker schools are high stress. Assume for Fargo U that only gets worse with vastly increased expenses and marginal revenue gains.

I think getting out of Minnesota was good for Varland. Not sure he does that with the Twins and pressure of being a home town guy. I think Twins are a little too hung up on drafting Minnesota guys.
