    Sandy?

Aren’t you going to wait to see if Duluth wins it all? Remember, getting there means nothing to you. So far, Berry has one Natty in 3 years, which matches Sandy’s total!
  2. https://www.isshockey.com/iss-top-31/ Interesting that they have Bernard Docker ahead of Tychonick. I am sure his maturity and character are playing a role in that as well as his skill and how he has really ripped it up lately. With him possibly sneaking higher in the draft, it sure makes you wonder if the coaches consider the possibility of him coming in this fall.
  3. http://www.ajhl.ca/media-centre/news-archives.html?nID=13353 Bast was on the all Rookie team, and Bernard Docker was a unanimous selection to all league. Tanner Laderoute was 1st team all league. Duluth picked him up late as an overage recruit. Be interesting to see how he does compared to Huber. Wonder if he is getting scholarship money from Duluth. Is it a matter that we know Huber might stay even if he doesn't get a lot of playing time whereas Laderoute is an overage player that is projected as playing?
  4. Same can be said of guys like Carson Soucy and others with Duluth. If they are on your team, they play with an edge, if they don’t, they are cheap.
  5. I'm a Bruin fan, and what scares me the most is that Marchand just doesn't get it. How many times do you have to be suspended before you alter your behavior for the good of the team? When it is this close to the playoffs and you are involved with risky behavior, it shows quite a bit of selfishness in my book.
  6. Another year in the Elite league should help, but if he could work with someone to get that extra step in his skating that will put him over the top.
  7. Christian Wolanin with first NHL goal tonight.
  8. We know that young commits to Wisconsin come here later anyway. Boeser and Schmaltz should help in that regard.
  9. I read some of his hockey tweets, and it certainly comes across as desperate to get people to read college hockey news articles. That might explain a lot.
  10. So is Jost. Has goals 11 &12 of the season so far tonight.
  11. If Arizona State had recruited Jack Rowe when we did initially, I probably would have considered that a miss at the time because he was doing well in some of the select camps. You don't hear a lot about Michael Fink anymore either. Lot's of hits and misses when you're recruiting at those ages, and sadly it is probably going to get worse before it gets better.
  12. Just to put some perspective on this, there was someone that projected another Arizona State player, Riley Simpson, as a big loss for UND. His sophomore season he didn't have a point, but of course you can bet that whoever considered him a big loss would have been ripping on the coaches had he put up big numbers. Remember all the people thinking UND should sign a bunch of players off the EGF championship hockey team? Probably one of the players who wasn't mentioned much was Colton Poolman, a very nice addition.
  13. ... and we are spoiled by our coaches having a nice mix, but if you lose 8 recruits in 2 years you have to expect the mix to be a little off.
  14. Good luck competing on a consistent basis when you always are wondering how many are leaving. That balancing act isn't as simple as you think it might be.
  15. To me, practically every game going to overtime versus St. Cloud doesn't constitute skating circles around us. Denver didn't either. It remains to be seen with St. Cloud, but I would guess the field will even out again now that Denver has suffered some of the same losses we have had to deal with.
  16. Pull ups are all about core strength, so if he has already improved that, he most likely won't have to answer questions about pull ups anymore.
  17. From what I gather there were those that didn't appreciate the response either. To be sure it wasn't a diplomatic response, but then again I don't know how diplomatic I was when I was that age if someone was calling attention to my inadequacies.
  18. Mittelstadt basically just shrugged it off saying that his hockey skill was most important, which it is. He hardly seemed embarrassed, nor did he mention an injury or anything that deterred him from that part of the combine.
  19. Yeah, so they lose 4 early and we lost 8 early over the last two years, plus another two this year.
  20. Flip Ohio State and Notre Dame. Notre Dame is already getting good recruits, don’t need them to have a championship to help them get even more. Don’t know if Ohio State will ever be a huge threat with lack of fan interest in the sport.
  21. Does the fact St. Cloud’s season ends before the Frozen Four increase the odds of guys leaving early? The fact that they could see ice time before the NHL regular season is over has got to make it more attractive, especially if they can burn a year on their initial contract.
  22. The rope-a-dope only works if you have a goalie play out of his head and one team miss a ton of golden opportunities. Would guess if they spend 2/3 of the game in their end the next game the odds may catch up with them.
  23. Yeah, losing him and Poganski on a team that already wasn’t real fast will hurt. Robby Jackson talking about UND having to catch them before they could punish them physically says there is a little discrepancy in speed between St. Cloud and UND.
  24. You act like you can just snap your fingers and it's done. BU has a ton of talent they plugged in, but let's face it, they just got hot at the right time, and UND was hurt by teams that did that.
  25. Wonder what is going on. She said she wasn't ready to speak about it now, but might be in a week or so. Team related, or personal?
