    Nope, but its being held at The University of North Dakota, so i think it only makes sense that any UND event should have priority w/in the schedule. Its up to the REA to make sure it can pay its bills.

    ill get roasted for this, but i think ksixpack greatly overvalues the impact of the state hockey tournament. approximately 1% of the state could give 2 shites about it. Just because GF closes down for the day, does not mean some pilgrimage from every corner of the state is made.

    I did at the last Saturday home game. As well as ball vs SU. Some cheers some glares. I like to stir the pot, but I'm ready to move on. I don't understand what the booing and chanting does for people. I also don't care what anyone wears.

    I don' see where i implied that. My point is that there are so many UND supporters i think you overestimate the proportionality of likeminded thinkers. Its a huge pool of people, with many demographics, i think there is a variety of sentiments on how to move into UND fandom P.N. (Post Nickname)

    not picking on you petey, I just love comments like this. Pure speculation based upon your social circle, yet put forth as gospel. This forum is so full of these statements you could fill a book. I graduated a Sioux from UND also, I will buy whatever new branded shite that comes out, cause im still a fan of the teams playing now. But, maybe im in the minority. (see what i did there)

Student: there are many kids that wouldnt come here if that were our logo, id rather go to NDSU. ME: (grabs gun) Tough to overcome the stupidity of youth.

    I dono, I think its kind of a refreshing change of pace, so everyone can remember were talking about real humans. I think we need a QB change to, but the way most are posting about bartels, its like he killed off the last unicorn or something. Go ahead and be critical, but dont be a keyboard warrior, it makes you look stupid.

    i dont understand the arguement about "being named after a GF high school team" Thats not whats happening, we choosing a name that is best associated w/ our history and future. Turns out a high school did a good job of that 50 years ago... doesnt mean its not the best choice.

    my .02, I think its more distracting to have the same 10 posters be unable to ignore any post that they dont agree with. Sure people are trolling, but they are not open hand slapping you in the face. Quit with the faux outrage. You come off as whiney toddlers. Just keep reading.....no need to come to the defense of UND over stupid crap every time it distracts from actual conversation. Winning an arguement on a message board shouldnt be the highlight of your day.
