Here is reason 1A why Mollberg didn't start the first game of the year. There was absolutely no reason to not look backside to Jackson on the trail route. The corner and safety began the play 10 yards off the ball, then dropped fast with the receivers coming at them. Jackson came underneath it all wide open for what would have been an easy 10-15 yards and first down.

Lines usually come out today or tomorrow morning, then we will know an accurate number.

100% agreed. I am confident in saying that Montana will be much more impressive than SDSU was. May not be good for UND but it will show on Saturday. Nice to have them back to back so we can compare.

Also, a person doesn't need the second ligament in their thumb to throw a ball or do anything for that matter. They remove that ligament when they need one to splice in somewhere else. You realize they lost 14 starters off last years team, right? NDSU won the game and it was a great win, no doubt, but it is apparently going to take time for KSU to get it together. Also, some of us understand the Big 12 too. UND played Texas Tech a few years back and I personally saw how fast and athletic those teams can be.

A decent amount of NFL teams use it for their kickoffs. Pretty sure we are OK using it too.

In the newer parts of West Fargo, which there are a lot of, they are both there along with Century Link for internet. Its a free-for-all.

Its two different views of what is "suspendable". A DUI is a one-game suspension at NDSU. At UND, missing a class check is a one-game suspension and it has been proven multiple times over the past 3 years. To each his own.

As much as I like Mollberg, the bolded statement above is a pretty big part of it. Gotta get the mental side down before you can be a Big Sky QB.

That is the new attitude down there. Now there is always a reason to not suspend somebody. It takes a DUI to get any form of suspension these days at NDSU - and even that is only one game.

Yes. That was 100% the reason why. I give the kid credit for sticking to his commitment and at least trying to see if it would work. Not a bad decision on his part at all.

Right. What happens when your behind 14-0 before you blink? Run off tackle until your back in it? There is a reason why there are not many power-football grind it out teams in the Big 12. You need to be able to keep up, if need be. Like it's been stated before, NDSU has never played a power team from a major conference so there is no way of knowing. The closest they have ever gotten is Iowa State and they lost.

Also, you like your chances in the Big 10 and Big 12 using your offense that runs power and jet sweeps all game. Good luck with that. It works at FCS because you have better players than most everyone else.

UND football needs to relax their suspension rules. They have been suspending players one game for missing a single class check. Happened multiple times in the past two seasons. If DUI's are a one gamer then missing class check should be a quarter or half-game, IMO.
