Yes.

Once again, I shouldn't say finalist list now. That would come this week sometime. But, from what I am hearing it will need to come together real quick to have a finalist list ready for soon after the deadline. Lets hope to be surprised on Wednesday or Thursday.
-
I didn't say "leaked from UND". There is no such thing. They only put our formal information. My point is they don't even have a final 3-4 list yet (due to rules I guess) and it's been 20 days. You can argue all you want but they don't and I know they don't. If they come out with one in next couple days, then fine I am wrong. But I don't think they will. The people who apply tonight or tomorrow are going to be some of the one's who Faison talked to first and already have jobs. Let's hope it move's very quickly after tomorrow.
-
That is true, I should not have said "finalist list". I was more referring to behind the scene's talk about who has been talked too, looked at, etc. It gets out and barely anything, other than Brook B. not applying, has been leaked out. That tells me BF is still talking to people to see who is interested. After 20 days.

I hear things. Have you seen a finalist list yet? Or heard of any peculiar looking individuals walking around campus with Brian Faison? It will get out pretty quick when somebody actually sets foot on campus or he formally interviews somebody. I have heard nothing. It's been 20 days.
-
UND could do the "emergency hire" thing too if they weren't so damn lazy. Making a couple calls a day and taking two weeks to even find out who is interested is absolutely ridiculous.
-
Just don't hire the assistant as the easy way out. We saw how that worked out for UND FB and NDSU VB.
-
Interesting. They hated him so much that they went out and won the Big Sky regular season championship and took the program to new heights. He must have really wore them down to nothing.
-
Heard he went back home to recover, sounded pretty serious. Have to wonder if he will come back, long way from home after a lengthy recovery. Would be surprised to see him play next year, even.
-
Yah, just like Petrino. Except not at all, in any way. What we are going to miss about Hardee is how his volleyball teams "dictated the tempo" and "wouldn't deviate for anybody".
-
From what I was told, yes. Going Juco for multiple reasons.
-
Jackson will be a tough one to replace, as will Edwards. They were contributors.. Isenberger was a recruiting "miss". Never quite panned out.
-
Maybe he transfers back home to a D3 or C-St Paul?
-
There we go, thank you Johnboy for recognizing my weak attempt at humor, based on history. As I said, very good athlete.
-
They officially do not care about Mens Basketball, Womens Basketball, Volleyball, or Soccer. Those sports are, meh. They are really into Football and softball now.
-
Which is why I said this year is different, based on having 48 seniors and dominating in every phase of the game. Go re-read some stuff. It was a f'king half-hearted joke but you know more than most people about most things.
-
(Facepalm). Thanks for the explanation, nobody here knew any of that. It was my little, tiny, half-joking opinion at what I think he will end up doing at the AC - Playing WR, which means you end up blocking the majority of the time.
-
Have you watched their offense over the years? This year they pass more to WR's but typically they have not based on their ability to run all over everyone. Would that be his position title? No.
-
He is a really good athlete, tall. Kind of a tweener but will be interesting to see where they slot him.
-
He will be a blocking WR for them. Can't see him playing defense.
-
There is a wee-bit of difference between D1 basketball and ND high school ball where a semi-quick 6'2" "post" was guarding AJ and then fouling him on the way to the hoop. I personally never thought he was a great recruit and his lack of offers backed me up. He will play for them but sure as hell isn't the next Braun. If you look at Saul's recruiting in the past few years, combined with this years signees, there appears to be alot of low-hanging fruit there. Dexter Werner is not a D1 basketball player, sorry. The guys on his bench look like role players that don't score. There is no Braun in this group. Even their current guards (LA, Brown) that were supposed to be so good got their asses handed to them by Anderson, Webb and Hooker. They are going to be pretty average next year. This year they will be fine cause of Braun and Wright.
-
Here is the difference: Big Sky fans don't constantly tout their conference as "tough". The Big Sky is what it is and we know it. Now if the MVC fans could figure out how good their conference really is.....
-
Another glaring stat: Assists - UND 14 NDSU 4.
-
I love how over on BV they still refer to themselves as a "defensive team". They are giving up 79 points a game.
-
No, Johnboy said the sold-out atmosphere sucked. You are wrong.
