I wonder how Kansas gets any recruits at all, I mean with offering those terrible shoes to wear.

I have been doing a little asking around about this apparel contract with Adidas; logistics, teams involved (department wide?), etc. So I found out something that is arguably the most unbelievable/ridiculous thing I have ever heard: one UND program is against the apparel contract with Adidas and wants nothing to do with it because apparently they prefer Nike. Which program do you think it is? Yep, the Men's Basketball program. My sources are pretty good on this one and I am amazed that a program of their level would think they can reject a sponsorship deal that is for the entire athletic department. If hockey had a hangup with something, alright lets talk. But.... To put it in perspective, Adidas sponsors the following basketball programs: Michigan, Miami, Louisville, Wisconsin, Indiana, Kansas, UCLA, Cincinnati, & Nebraska. Plus, they sponsor a boatload of FCS level teams like EWU, Sac State, NAU, etc. Supposedly, the Adidas deal is going through for the majority of the UND teams, most importantly football. I don't know what will happen with BB.

I have no idea, honestly. Seems they want one more RB as evidenced by the Juco offer and this speculation.
-
Cause he doesn't know crap and keeps cluttering up the board. He is speculating, which we all can do, but passing it off as fact. I for one know we are talking to two different Big Ten RB's at the moment, one of them I believe is from the Gophers. But I am not 100% sure so I will stipulate that here. Edit: Devin Church left Illinois but is going to Eastern Illinois. Might have been one of them.

It is quite obvious that he was spit balling by position back in November. Everyone knew UND needed a drop down WR and RB, or possibly a Juco mixed in. So, he states that they already have two on the line, which we know was not true at that time. They had one but not two. Its easy to speak in generalities and then later claim "I told you so" while hiding behind the GOBC facade.

Last year when UND had all their players back as seniors, they finished the season -2 in rebounding margin. This year they are -4. Getting beat on the boards is not an experience thing.
-
Should be a pretty big warning sign for all when SDSU doesn't even want him. He is not fast enough is one reason why. UND has had enough backs that are not fast enough. Need some guys with big play ability like everyone else has.
-
They prefer transfers from Valley City State and Crookston, for the most part. I for one am all for that. Keep the pipeline to Fargo open.
-
If you don't hear about a guy for an entire semester, there is probably a pretty good chance he won't come back the next semester. We will see but it's obviously a grades issue with Stefan because he is still on the roster. Also, I really hope we see more ball screens at the top of the key. That worked really well vs. NDSU. Here is a thought: Have a secondary play/motion/screen that is happening while that stupid ball screen is being set that they run every single time down the floor. Or run an actual offense. Either or.

I don't think people understand the mess this team is, both on and off the court. Bringing in all these transfers has led to what you saw Saturday. A mess. There is no reason to bring in all those transfers. 2-3 would be fine. To bring in NINE is ridiculous, especially when you have shown you can recruit good high school kids like Hooker, Cashman, Crandall, and Huff before them. To me that is lazy recruiting and taking the easy way to fill your roster. Can they get better as the season goes on? Yes. Will they? ___

On KFAN this morning I heard them say that any new team needs to show they generate 22 million dollars in revenue before they get an invitation to the Big 12. They based that on what each team is getting via the new TV contract.
-
Then why would he write it? He must have thought about it and obviously didn't completely dismiss it. NDSU fans seem to "not be serious" alot on message boards about their FBS chances.
-
What are Poly and Davis going to do? Be independent?
-
He is pretty fast too. Believe he ran a 10.66 - 100 meter in high school. He would be the deep threat we are sorely missing.
-
They usually attend the Saturday night game so anybody who is there get your head on a swivel and report back here.
-
UND didn't "miss" on any of these kids, especially the two from NDSU. They didn't offer them and neither did anybody else (sans Cal-Poly who apparently offers everybody). UND doesn't need guys that go 0-X from the field every 4th game.
-
Of course something will happen over Xmas break. The problem is the kids still need to visit, which is the next two weekends. They don't commit without visiting.
-
So it took that post about tickets for you to figure out the program is down right now?
-
That is the thing about being in a lower conference like the Big Sky. You're not getting an NCAA at-large anyway so non-conference wins and home games are for meaningless ratings. Big Sky Conference play is obviously all they care about. Not saying they should do the road warrior thing every year but they can do it when needed.
-
Yah they do, Sioux Nation said so. The offensive coordinator just doesn't know how to play calls for all those dudes they trot out there every week. Anyone else notice what happens to offensive coordinators that try to call plays with no talent on the field? They get fired, leave or are going to be fired. Norm Chow went to the big island but Reggie Bush, Matt Leinert, and Carson Palmer didn't come with him. They went 1-11 last year and are averaging 20 pts/game this year. He SUCKS as an offensive coordinator/HC, right? June Jones couldn't get SMU past midfield this year and finally quit. What a loser. Why didn't he "move the pocket" more? Michigan hired away Doug Nussmeier from Alabama to re-charge their offense. They are averaging 20 pts/game. (P.S. - Not comparing Rudolph to the above coaches, either. Just pointing out that you need talent to score points, not a great offensive mind.)
-
Do you have a bunch of plays Rudolph could use to try and gain big yards? Maybe plays that can get guys like Young open, who run 4.7 fortys and can't separate from anybody? They have zero playmakers out there on offense now that McGill and Ferguson left the team, and Ferguson was hurt half the season. The rest of the receivers are average speed and can't get off a jam or separate. Oh, and Rudolph knows his QB will have about 2-3 seconds to get the pass off so factor that in, also. Oh, and the QB can't run the ball ever because if he gets hurt they will be down to a walk-on who they didn't want to play in the first place.
-
You forgot to add yell at the coach/coaches and have nothing happen to them.
-
He committed in the fall to Mussman's staff, I believe.
-
He was not running the scout team the same week he was preparing for EWU.
-
Generally speaking, yep that makes sense.
