Why? Because the Summit is becoming the NCC 2.0 that Sica and the often maligned Star2 said it would become. ORU was the program that one could point to in the Summit and say that the Summit has a school with national recognition and prominence. Losing ORU is big hit to the conference. With the way conferences have been changing over the past 2 years, who else may be leaving the Summit?

I wonder if Fullerton and NDSU are talking?

I was out this afternoon and only was able to start watching it when the Sioux were down 23-9. It sounds like Bradley didn't play well at all and from what I saw from Goska, he is showing a couple of things that Bradley has not. Goska is always a threat to run and has been able to hit the open man where Bradley has not. I'm sure Hardin will replay that drop over and over again in his head, but he had a great catch to earlier that got the Sioux moving. Although a loss, I'm encouraged by the play that I saw. In that span the moved the ball fairly well, scored 10 points and didn't allow and Poly points. From reading through the game thread the Sioux didn't show a lot of offense prior to Goska coming in. I think he has earned a start next week. Go Sioux!

Sioux will take a lead into the fourth quarter and hold on at the end 27-24. Go Sioux!!

I heard on the radio this morning, Missouri to the SEC will likely happen this week, which will cause some more ripples.

Sometimes we need to just let life happen and stop trying to control things. Delano is life. She gets the crowd going. Why mess with it? I don't think focusing on an 85 year old woman at a hockey game is going to negatively impact the Princeton Review rankings.

I had to laugh when I read that he won't be charged, due in part to the fact that NDSU is letting him continue his job until the end of the year. What kind of a message does that send? http://www.grandforksherald.com/event/article/id/218381/ If someone in our company was doing what he was doing, he would be gone and his projects/assignments would be distributed to other employees. Amazing.

Someone (Iowa?) canceled a game with WBB, I believe and wasn't there also a track meet the Sioux were uninvited to? Since UND is now under NCAA sanctions per the settlement, it will continue and become more prevalent.

Dominions 1.the power or right of governing and controlling; sovereign authority. 2.rule; control; domination. 3.a territory, usually of considerable size, in which a single rulership holds sway. 4.lands or domains subject to sovereignty or control. 5.Government . a territory constituting a self-governing commonwealth and being one of a number of such territories united in a community of nations, or empire: formerly applied to self-governing divisions of the British Empire, as Canada and New Zealand. Doms for short. UND taking back control of the name and control of the university. The dominant university of the Dakotas. Of course a certain crowd will turn it into Dominos and pizza delivery or pizza boys, but then again, they will do that regardless of the name.

I'm hoping that you are right. IF UND loses this one, Faison should meet Mussman in the locker room after the game with a pink slip.

After watching last week's highlights with the white uniforms, I have to say that I like UND's away uniforms better than the home ones. It has been mentioned before that the green home uniforms don't really match the helmets very well and as the game wears on and the players sweat, the Sioux have two different shades of green on the uniform itself. The white uniforms have a sharp look to them just as they do for the home basketball and hockey. I watched the Saints play the Jaguars in Jacksonville last weekend and the Jaguars wore their white uniforms and the Saints wore what is typically their home uniforms. http://hosted.ap.org/dynamic/files/photos/F/f481d9af-b468-4bba-8992-1fe27d8af408.html?SITE=PAREA&SECTION=HOME&TEMPLATE=DEFAULT Can the Sioux choose to wear white for their home games? At least until they get a better looking uniform that matches the helmet.

Perhaps someone should have told the "online" students they would have to live in virtual dorms. http://www.dakotastu...t-und-1.2622908 and from last weeks press release...

i saw over on the bunny board that they have a 4 page thread on UND being ranked with the Bison faithful doing their best at explaining it. IF there was some sort of confusion where last week the voters mistook UND for NDSU, causing NDSU to fall in the rankings and UND to be ranked, why is UND still ranked a week later? Shouldn't the voters have figured out their error and not ranked UND? After this week UND will either rise in the rankings with a win over SUU or fall out of the rankings with a loss to SUU. Beat the Birds!

Reading the box score from last weekend, I see that UND only had one sack on Black Hills . I would have thought the Sioux would get a better pressure on them than that. I have confidence that the Sioux will be able to establish the running game, as they have the last two games. Miller had a 180 yards and Garman 90 yards last week. Miller was once again the Great West player of the week. I'm still waiting for that big game from Bradley,as I think he is capable from his stats from last year. I think the coaches are somewhat holding him back and having manage the game rather than having him press and throw a possible INT. This game should be a good measuring stick for where the Sioux are.

I've been watching the game, but too busy with kids to post.
