Do we know for sure they were trying to take them off or were they just trying to affix a banner to cover them up. I don't recall reading that they were attempting to remove.

I'm guessing we may see a few of those mug shots on poster boards at the basketball games. Maybe not this year, but when NDSU comes to GF....

I think the essay is all that was needed for punishment. No need for a fine unless there was damage to the property. I love a good prank and don't want to see students become too afraid to continue those types of shenanigans for fear of a criminal record. Keep it creative, don't cause property damage and all is good.

There are several bison fans who troll and post things just to fire up our fan base. This was not one of them. Just a bison fan giving some perspective on what to possibly expect from Montana based on their game with them. No need to jump on every Bison fans post. Just sayin'...

A few thoughts, although admittedly, I didn't see much of the game yesterday. Coming into the season, I wasn't going to measure success for this team by wins and losses. I was looking for a team that played clean football (eliminates mistake/penalties), a team that played better football (fundamentals/heart) and got better as the season progressed. After seeing the first home game against "Bobby Moe," I wasn't too optimistic this would happen. But a few games later, I think we are seeing this team make some steps in the right directions. The defense is worlds better than it was the last few years. Still not where it needs to be, but definitely improving each game. The offensive production is progressing at a much slower pace but still is progressing. Keep in mind that our starting receivers were not seeing any playing time last year and our starting running back the last couple games is a converted linebacker who wasn't listed as a running back until game two this year. I'm not ready to anoint Bubba as our savior but he has addressed and corrected a few of the issues our program has had over the past few years. Looking forward to Saturday's game against the Griz to see if we continue taking steps forward.

And at the same time, this years NDSU team or next years?

There was a Taco Bell on 32nd ave in front of Sam's Club that closed a year or two ago. It was tore down and now there is a Panera Bread there.

My question is why are they ranked so high, regardless of who they played, compared to Indiana state who isn't ranked. It's UNI's fault for scheduling as they did. I just don't think they should be at #11. Basically the poll is saying those games don't count by not dropping them. In contrast, had UNI won, they definitely would have gone up.

I see UNI sitting at #11 with an 0-2 record. Sure they played two FBS games, but still #11 seems high. Indiana State has a 2-1 record, has played 2 FBS games (one of which they won) and pounded and FCS team, yet they only receive some votes. Something doesn't seem right about that.

I would agree that it's a bit too early to pull Mollberg. What happens if you put Bartles in and he isn't any better? Go back to Mollberg, pull the redshirt on Studsrud? We know we aren't making the playoffs this year. Give Mollberg a chance to take his lumps and see if he progresses. If it's the same mistakes, turnovers during game 6 or 7, then pull him and see what Bartles can do the last half of the year. I know Mollberg is making alot of the same mistakes as last year. But there's a new offense this year and a bunch of new players. I think he deserves a few more games before we write him off.

Anyone know why Sharp is seeing any carries?
