I would throw in 2021, one blown lead and double diver loss to Utah State. 5 one score losses ending in a 5-6 disappointment. Lost to SDSU a national semi finalist on the road, crapped the bed at playoff Mo State on the road, lost on the road to playoff SIU, lost on road to playoff USD, and f’d up against NDSU at home. Win those games 10-1 or worst 8-3 Could have been a turning point season….however we may have had another Richmond moment against a backup qb.

That was my thoughts to, we had no push and the we bullying us.

The positive Bubba moments are the fantastic finishes at home against ranked teams…..unfortunately the negative is that many of those positives moments lacked their luster when the team could not maintain that elevated play the next game or rest of season.

Nichols (locker room) and Idaho State Blizzard and late arrival. One game we got ran over and the other we couldn’t stop the pass. We cannot control locker room and weather, but we can control how we play the game.

I remember hearing about Marv Levy while coaching at Kansas City he ran Wing T and ran the football a lot to limit possessions because their D was bad. We have been ball control up to Freund. Current OC looks to be doing this, but unlike Danny taking more deep shots. This strategy has been going on for probably over a decade. One would think we need new body types and speed on defense. With portal I was hoping we bring in more body types to compete and go deep in the playoffs. Montana brought in a ton and made it to the title game and had one of the top defenses. I am not saying we need to do the same but D-Line something needs to be done. So far, for the most part especially on DL where little has been done. 3-4 or 4-3 or 4-2 if you don’t have the dudes to occupy the OL and speedy linebackers/safeties to clean up or spy and kill QB. The defense has no chance. Maybe in Big Sky where it is pass happy we have the ok body types but for the Valley especially top tier and discovered yesterday the lower tier, we do not right now.

Not sure how many times it was practiced but A: 67 was not any option, because he reacted like a guy who never caught a pass in his life B: if practiced it was probably half @ss because Q reacted like WTF do I do now since they were on him within 2 seconds.

Unless YSU wins out, this loss maybe considered a very bad loss and seven wins will not be enough to get in the playoffs.

I agree other teams in FBS and FCS go through this when traveling by plane or bus. Not sure how all this seems to bother only one team out of 260 other teams in D1. Unless the laws of the universe does not include UND, which I doubt. Losers find excuses, winners find a way.

I cannot, I do remember Austin Cieslak from Hazen was a dude in 2018.

What bothers me the most is with two turnovers (2-0 advantage) an average defense with our offense wins this game.

Heard the announcers say ISU blue has an athletic qb, with their win today we may lose. SDSU big O-line will run through us if not 1st quarter, by 2nd and onward. USD we may have a shot if we have a great crowd. ISU Red on the road last game of year, very well be the NAU deflating loss during Brady’s and Santiago’s senior year that left us out of the playoffs.

Not sure why teams like cute 2pt plays, give it to our playmakers! I was for going for 2 because I don’t think our D would stop theirs at the end. Unfortunately, I should have realized our 2pt play crappiness would carry over from Freund era.

Great response from offense. D need to roll the dice and take chances. Either we give a big play for TD and have a chance to go on a game winning drive to win or we force a turnover and go up two scores.

YSU has beef to to limit our O-line push, however their pass rush is very very average.
