Michigan State down by 20 in third quarter against Indiana and they have Tommy in.

It’s just cruel, I had low expectations and then started to believe and now this loss to YSU and ISU blue. I feel bad for the players especially seniors who stayed. I would say more but too upset about todays game ..,

And one of nuts is shattered.

Radio is making excuses about d-line injuries etc. Schmidt’s last year a D coordinator he had to put true freshman in (I think we gave up 400 yards rushing against EWU) (maxed out 4 games) because of all the injuries and despite that we battled all year until the Nichols State fiasco.

When things don’t go as script we panic on D….maybe take some improv in Acting I at UND.

I do hope Bo has a 2nd half of the ages to make up that fumble and we pull this out.

After that first down play, call timeout and asked players do want to score or run time off clock. Give them ownership on that series. But as others have said …

Offensively we are not too far off but Defensively we may be as bad as Idaho State if it’s not our offense. And when it’s end of half it’s as bad as Murray State.

I wonder if this is our defensive coaches meeting as we prepare for athletic quarterbacks.

Or did we run out or smoke and mirrors and we are who we are.

We don’t get FBS transfers (not saying whole scale acquisition) we for what ever reason we refuse to get defensive size and or linebacker athleticism. That saved Montana’s season last year.

If there is a positive it is a noon kickoff, which is similar home games. Seriously it will come down to the trenches. O-Line needs way better push than last week. D-Line need to limit their push up front. Cannot let one dude abuse us like last week, we need someone to stand out in the interior and ILB on D, not just one play a game but at least one play per offensive series.

If UNI put up 35 on Mo St, maybe we can have a defense. However the best defense is if we can some how ger an2-3 score lead and make their offense more predictable…..check that we did that at home and were still forced into OT. I do hope we can be physical (both sides we did not do that last week) in the trenches and not embarrass ourselves with the QB run/scramble game. We do this we should win.

If the OL would have caught it and scored would be 5 yards and repeat down? If so we would have probably kicked the extra point.

I would throw in 2021, one blown lead and double diver loss to Utah State. 5 one score losses ending in a 5-6 disappointment. Lost to SDSU a national semi finalist on the road, crapped the bed at playoff Mo State on the road, lost on the road to playoff SIU, lost on road to playoff USD, and f’d up against NDSU at home. Win those games 10-1 or worst 8-3 Could have been a turning point season….however we may have had another Richmond moment against a backup qb.

That was my thoughts to, we had no push and the we bullying us.

The positive Bubba moments are the fantastic finishes at home against ranked teams…..unfortunately the negative is that many of those positives moments lacked their luster when the team could not maintain that elevated play the next game or rest of season.

Nichols (locker room) and Idaho State Blizzard and late arrival. One game we got ran over and the other we couldn’t stop the pass. We cannot control locker room and weather, but we can control how we play the game.
