Since I have been watching Fighting Sioux/Hawks football in the early 90’s. We tend play closer games then our neighbor to the South (even when we had our own win streak) Just Win Baby!

ACU needs this game also so they will for sure take some chances and give us looks that we have not seen. Even with smaller crowd and if they can make some noise it will help. When we had 7 wins and left out, it was said the Idaho State home loss that was the excuse. We beat play-off , first round by Portland on the road, blown out by playoff Montana, loss to SU and 1 point loss at Weber.

Reason for loss is mainly turnovers in my opinion. When you’re an underdog you cannot lose in the turnover battle and especially cannot give up or lose points from them Fist pick 6, second denied a fg, and third short field TD Jacks.

My guess either we did not anticipate that coverage or someone missed a block. I agree Tommy shouldn’t have thrown it. They were aggressive to the pass to wr in the flats and with a four man rush and 7 in coverage, a team can do that. A dominant front 4 can win many games. Especially if a team is forced to throw.

Need to play well for sure. 7-4 we are in. 6-5 I doubt it.

I still feel we are a playoff team, not a top 10. Take away the turnovers it would have been a one score game. My ‘83 Raiders could win that way but not us.
