I also live in Minnesota, close to the Twin Cities, and hate the gophers, not just in hockey, but in all sports. I loved watching Indiana....yes, Indiana whoop up on their football team recently. You may ask, "why do you hate minnesota so bad? you must be jealous." Actually, I didn't mind the gophers when I was far away from the twin cities, but seeing how absolutely arrogant the fans are in person, I hate them. What do their fans have to be arrogant about? I am not sure, but that is the main reason for my hatred. (Nice football and basketball stadiums, when Mariucci is your nicest facility, you know you are in trouble.) M -I-N-N-E..........

Belmore is going to have to be the guy to lead us into the playoffs. This game could be tough, South Dakota has a good team. I just hope we can get into the playoffs. Too bad our offense hasn't been consistent this year, hopefully we can start being consistent now and through the playoffs. This will likely be the last home game of the year, so go to the game and make some noise!

It's Hakstol's fault most Gopher fans are jerks. It's his fault the sioux football team lost to Omaha last weekend too.

I know people who paid 100 dollars a seat for uppers because they were told by several sources that the games were sold out. If the tickets were made available, the game would have sold out. INCH needs to get their stories right. I usually don't use that site since it is far behind the quality of USCHO.

Sioux came back, fall just short. This could be a very important game in getting the Sioux back on track.

As long as other fans aren't arrogant, they are welcome on this board in my opinion.

I have an idea. Lets talk about Winona State when they do something. Until they beat a good team. I refuse to talk...good or bad...about Winona State. Did you guys play Rochester Community and Technical College this year? I hear they have a good team.

Winona is a dangerous team....because teams like the Sioux look past them. I think if the Sioux play Winona again, it won't be close like last year. The Sioux would win comfortably in my opinion.

I think it is good the surface is fieldturf. This is similar to natural grass, but not the same. The sioux have seemed to have problems on the road on grass in the past few years. I hope the defense can hold the Mavs, I don't know how many points we will be scoring, especially if we play like we did in the second half against Mankato.

Sloppy game, bottom line, Sioux win. Gophers aren't very good. Sioux played poor and still won. SWEEP SWEEP!

Very true, that doesn't seem to be a gopher now does it. With UND's crackdown on people throwing dead gophers/badgers on the ice, I suspect the only dead meat on the ice this weekend will be the Gopher players.

If Bowenkamp is healthy, put him in for "mop up time" as they call it if the sioux have a big lead, give him a few plays and get the rust off.
