I have to say I will be cheering for the Canadians in the gold medal game. I hope they win in a rout. What a bunch of jerks the Russians are. I have never seen anything like their display in 20+ years of watching hockey at all levels. It took great restraint from Team USA to not jump one of those guys. GO Canada GO!

I can't believe that game...all of those penalties. The Russian team has no class, I can't believe how they acted. They dive with every hit, and taunt like I have never seen in hockey before. At times, it looked like a pro wrestling event with their hands to the ear and pointing at the USA bench. I am now cheering for Team Canada in the gold medal game.

Is the USA defensive corps the problem? Hagemo and Goligoski haven't impressed me one bit, nor has Hensick. I didn't expect much from Lee, being he is in high school.

USA loses again...not good. Without being accused of being a homer, is anyone other than Drew Stafford going to show up for the USA? Drew is leading the team in scoring, where are all the other talents? Montoya struggling doesn't surprise me, he has never impressed me. Boys better step up or they will finish right where the Hockey News predicted.

Anyone else think these guys are clowns? I had no idea where the puck was or what was going on, it sounded like a high school game being broadcast. Why in the world did "Double Minor Broadcasting", whoever that is, get the rights to broadcast? Why not Tim Hennessey? I realize yet again how lucky we are to have Tim broadcasting Sioux hockey.

So, it has opened, for those of us not in GF, how is it? Packed for the Juniors? How's parking? If you park there before a Sioux game and get liquored up, can you remain there and walk to the game? Prime parking...

This is basically a college all star team we are playing today. There are a handful of pro players on the team too. Team USA will be a big favorite in my opinion. I hope we can keep it close.

I hear Ryan P. and Daniel IrMEN both like to play the horns if you get my drift.

I am not upset at all that Pitt State lost. They just aren't a team I can root for, don't seem to be very sportsmanlike, especially Chuckie Broyles. He reminds me of Boss Hogg. Good job Valdosta.

Gophers do suck, not because you were playing against a solid goalie, just because you are the gophers. Pretty simple logic there. Check out my signature line, that's what I think of the state of the self proclaimed "state of hockey".
