How does a university operate when it operates in the Red? If I recall Montana operated last year in the red after advancing to the Final 64 and won the championship in football.

and I quote "What happened?" Translation: The Big Sky Conference sent UND a letter telling them should apply to their conference. Plain & Simple. The Forum makes it sound like UND is pursing D1...haha. UND has stated it doesn't even know if it will apply to the Big Sky like THEY want.

The Forum is obsessed. There is no new news here. UND playing in the semifinals looks bad to the Big Sky.

Is attendance down this year? I've been seeing 1200 attendance for the games, I thought I remembered about 2,500 was the average last year?

Looking back upon last year what would you rather have? Would you give up the MacNaughton Cup to beat Denver and go to the Frozen Four? I personally would rather win the Cup because that's a trophy and there is no trophy for participating in the Frozen Four....just banners for SCSU. This is given that you know the team wouldn't win the NCAA championship because that would be obvious. What's the better recruiting tool? One would think telling a recruit that your team made the FF would win.

I'd guess 215 (or lower part of that section)? Since the band is usually in 213? So does GVSU get non General Admission tickets in the student sections? Cause I can see UND students coming to the game and sitting in those seats and then suddenly having to move.

My thoughts exactly. St. Cloud didn't follow the rules then. There was no visiting team section between the thirty yard lines. (although it may be different because they have no visiting side seats directly behind the visiting team). So I guess UND broke the NCAA rules the last two years.

What changed from last year to this year?

There is a reason for everything. How hard to you think it is to get an internet broadcast working for hockey? Basketball worked fine and the other teams internet audio broadcast work fine. I seem to remember Mark Rudolph addresssing the issue......

At lot of people have been complaining how bad the quality is this year compared to last years (satellite) broadcast.

I predicted (or at least said that they should go for) the fake field goal. It was a replay of the playoffs a couple years ago when they faked it at the Alerus. It was a perfect situation 4th and 3(?) Glas was having a bad day, and it was to close to punt.
