  1. Interesting but off topic. In Montana you can still drink and drive. Not drive drunk, but chug a beer while driving to the lake.
  2. Sorta like the Sioux hockey teams, but reversed. The Sioux teams preseason national poll usually have them near the top (10). Regardless of recorders etc, they seem to up there. Whether you agree or not, polls are generally based on historical success at the national level. The UND Men's basketball program has little of that.
  3. Until they (University Station) learn that they could have higher profits if they keep their prices the same as everyone else at 5-10 cents more.
  4. I believe the Betty would be able to hold 6,000(?) if they bought bigger end zone seats. There seems to be plenty of room for it to my untrained eye. Now that would be awesome to see. I still wish they had bought some sort of video replay boards/screens.
  5. It does seem odd that you would contact UND administators and tell them that there was someone on a message board that was spreading rumors about Greene failing a field sobriety test. It looks like I was right, they were ice fishing. They musta been pounding them to stay that late. (Yes the pun was intended)
  6. My guess would be ice fishing. Warroad is close to popular Zipple Bay et al on Lake of the Woods, which could also be the reason he was drinking.
  7. You got me! It is indeed a the dreaded olympic rink.
  8. From the link: "3G Sprint PCS Vision phones that support MIDI polyphonic ringtones"
  9. No, it's not another, "I miss standing" & "The atmosphere." But what are the small things that you miss? The smell, being crowded in the concourse, being able to walk around the arena (goal laps)? One of the small things I miss is the Nachos loaded with cheese. The best part was at the end of the row you got to add all the jalapenos you could eat. Me and my buddies would load up and make our mouths burn. 'Tis was tradition. Good Times.
  10. The thing is no one seems to care that Roger is leaving. I don't subscribe to the GF Herald, but online it didn't even appear to be front page news. Then I pick up the Dakota Student and there is only a moderate article about it in the Sports section, with the major story going to 100 years of UND basketball.
  11. I believe that's tonite and Saturday http://theralph.com/new2/Watch_The_Sioux_S...h_The_Sioux.php
  12. I've never laughed so hard.

  14. I want to give a thanks to Jim, because the picture I used in the center logo was the one he gave. I simply printed it out on my computer on high gloss paper. There's a picture of me, incase anyone wants to find and sue me for copyright laws. http://siouxsports.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=3438&hl= 4' x 8' 3/4" plywood. The specs are the exact scale 1:25. I used a "Bar Pour" to protect it. It is equal to 50 coats of varnish and gives a nice high gloss finish (see lights). It also makes it so you can't feel the lip of the center logo I glued on. It's perfect for one of my favorite games. Beer Pong.
  15. That would be all fine and dandy if the Sioux didn't win the League last year, and realistically only lost one player unexpectingly (Bo.) And now they'll probably finish 5th place. Realistically a team should recruit the same number of players every year, so there is no extreme highs and lows. And have other players waiting in the wing, need some unexpected departures. CC and UND 3 WCHA titles in a row. Gophers back to back champs. It can be done to be a good team year after year even with departures.
  16. Interesting stat indeed.
  17. If only talent won hockey games.
  18. Sioux haven't won at CC since 2000
  19. They seem to be doing all right. What is your point? 01Grad compared Murray's point production of this year to last, which I pointed out was like apples and oranges, because see above, helping set Murray up and finish his set ups (which he will get an assist for).
  20. In my view thats a proposterous thing to say. The frozen four or WCHA champinoship is a little harder then picking daisies in mid-July. I don't like Hakstol as a guy but I do respect him. If he continues to bring in talent this team will succeed, its strange how nobody seems to notice how Blais' teams came up short, i.e. Ferris State, the Jason Blake era, hell even Niagara played with them for a period and a half one year. Hakstol hasn't impressed me this year but time will tell whether he's the right guy. <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
  21. OK fair enough. Are you there, because I thought it was for something different, and I guess that's what I get for watching it on TV.
  22. Come on another thread to question coaching? Get a life. Like I said before, how about you wait a couple years. One cannot compare this year to last, because Zach Parise and Brandon Bochenski are some of the greatest players to lace up the skates for the Sioux.
