Gotta agree Wisconsin fans are some good fans overall, if the shoe were on the other foot, I'd probably cheer "racist mascot" to just get under the other teams skin...most probably don't care about the mascot, just using it to get at the other team.

I also gotta say the criticism to Belmore is undeserved, he didn't play great but he played pretty dang good considering the conditions. My only criticism was on a couple of plays he should have pump faked and ran the ball, and in the fourth quarter either have two plays already called or should have saved the Timeout by spiking the ball, ( I was at the game). As for the Undertones its getting the whole story, which NY Times does a good job of. If you left out the fact that the benefactor left out that he was an avid supporter of the name and wrote a letter to Kupchella stating he'll "take (his) lumps and walk away", you'd be missing a huge part, along with the "Nazi Parties." The average reader should know that and it adds a lot of the understanding of the situation.

Bob think the Sioux will be number 5, which makes sense, and will travel to SCSU again. The way we played today made me feel pretty good about the offense, Belmore seemed to be finding his niche, and the players would love a chance at SCSU again.

Yeah god knows there is no such thing as private schools that exist without state support. Funny thing because that is what dunker was saying that you nitpicked. If there was no students there would be no university (as you seem to state because the students couldn't pickup that big of a bill). He didn't say anything about the students funding the building of the university.

You'd think that if GVSU and UND win, UND would be out of the playoffs and GVSU would be in because GVSU would win against the number one team in the region, but then going by jim's SSI it'd appear UND would have the stronger overall SSI.

It's probably because Northeastern isn't good. They are not rated in the top 25. I know they beat Michigan this year . Last year they beat Frozen Four contestant BC and still only finished 11-16.
