and look at that they scored.

Sioux get one goal then start standing around. I hope this team doesn't play down to their opponents level.
-
Well don't be so sure. DirecTV just picked up Saturdays Sioux football game, Channel 617. I don't get DirecTV so not sure if its FCS but I assume it is. GRAND FORKS, N.D. -- Saturday's Homecoming football game between the University of North Dakota and Southern Utah will be picked up by DirecTV on channel 617.

Here's some water and aspirin. Try and sober up. Its pretty obvious what part of the announcement is: UND has a "master facilities plan." They want to do this this and this (football practice facility, on campus stadium, some other buildings-maybe non athletic, business school remodel?). It will cost this much money ($300 Million?). They have so much already ($150 million?) and need to "ignite the spirit" to finish the fundraising, but they have enough already and will proceed with certain projects very soon (football practice facility). It will not have anything to do with another hockey building or anything to do with the Sioux nickname I can guarantee you that.

How much would it cost to put the players names on the back of the their jerseys so we can be big time? How about we don't give Hakstol a 3% "cost of living" wage increase next year and use that $7,000 for it? Is that enough?

South Dakota State might be winless this season but the computer rankings list them ahead of us still: 27 vs 40! We will find out who the better team is Nov 20 in Brookings.

Is the new Bison Sports Arena suppose to have suites? I never saw it mentioned in any articles.

SCSU loss could be UNDs gain:

Where can we get Sioux Jerseys after next year?
Cratter replied to BobIwabuchiFan's topic in Community
Once UND doesn't keep using the Sioux logo the Trademark expires. When the logo becomes common use I don't know. I doubt UND would be taking people to court for using a logo they no longer care about. -
Lets also not forget USD lost to a heck of a team in NDSU, which just moved up to 13th in the Coaches Poll this week and the computer ranks have them at 7th in the country! I hope I am wrong but I believe USD has a 60% chance to win this game with the most likely score of 31-28, especially since USD is at home. The old days D2 days of dominating are over. Theres a lot of parity now.

on KVLY TV 11 news at Ten o' clock on September 27 Yvonne Man stated: Which basically backs up this statement: Play it safe and say NDSU now only needs another 20 Million dollars. And with all those tuition wavers going on at NDSU I don't think they have a lot of money floating around I was suprised to learn that $10 Million gift was the largest ever to NDSU.
-
So basically they had a announcement to say they raised about a third of the price of a renovated arena? As the days go by it appears Star2City will be right and UND will breakground before NDSU. I heard only silver urinals but with mini lcd tvs built into the walls above each urinal to never miss a moment of the action.

Anyone that thinks we are on the same playing field as DIA (FBS) would be factually wrong. I'm not secure with our IAA (FCS) status. I want IA and with the new 25,000 retractable roof stadium the goal will be close.
-
Sorry Dave. Its a fact. Five Division I football teams. One Division IA. Four Division IAA. And by basic elementary reading comprehension its easy to see those add up to five Division I football teams. As the other guys said: its simply facts, but go ahead and argue with those.

21-13 Bison. I'd rather the Sioux go into the Dakota Dome after having the Coyotes win their previous game.

Bring on the Fighting Calvary!

It's just one of many reasons. Not the main reason. I was just pointing out the facts. Lobbyists run the world. You should know that. Not just oil ones. But I'll explain one for you: In California, where smog is a major problem, electric cars started catching on. Cities even started to build "Charging Stations." (Does that show their was a demand?) But the oil industry funded consumer organizations to stop them. The oil industry also paid for editorials in national publications (Time, Newsweek, etc) essentially trying to sway public opinion (including factually inaccurate ones: Environmental benefits of electric cars are dubious). Companies want to protect their profits; its only natural. Or as I simply stated previously to generate this long post: A company isn't going to start to make and sell (or try and educate and advertise) less profitable Electric Vehicles (they want to sell trucks - GM bought Hummer) unless it has too. And if no car company is really making any electric vehicle. No worries. GM, Honda, etc told people to return their electric cars they had leased and destroyed them some ten years ago. I'll spare you the history of how Hybrids started take hold on the marketplace (How that "demand" was created). If nobody wants to buy them why is there a rush to make electric vehicles all of a sudden (by Ford and GM) again? Where are you getting this stuff? Aren't economically viable? I see all electric cars being driven in Grand Forks. I'm still waiting for Hydrogen.

I know we don't like Bison Boys but lets not that cloud our judgement. I am not saying the world is going to change any time soon but, Electric cars have been around a long time. Way before the Volt. And what has killed them? Its not just that technology hasn't been there. Its about money and politics as we know and the oil industry has a lot of it to throw around to protect their product. To says this is pretty preposterous. Right now there is an all electric car on the road in the USA that goes more than 200+ miles per charge which is equivalent to 120 miles per gallon. Oh yeah and did I mention it goes from zero to 60 mph in 3.7 seconds faster than Porsches and Ferraris! *I understand there is limitations.
-
The Volt is definately not a game changer. But Tesla Motors is. If you want one you will have to join the waiting list.

That's cause he is a bisonville regular.

The wheels are starting to turn, but will they fall off? Its a good day when The Hockey News is talking about it.

This team don't see individually.
