Star for President!!! 'of UND' -
I worry that the ND representatives won't fight for the Sioux name at the meeting. Kelly just asking the NCAA a better way to help approach retirement. I think sioux fans need to keep up the fight. Email the representatives and the NCAA.

Tickets For Sale on the Street on Thursday
Cratter replied to NorthDakotaHockey's topic in Tickets wanted / for sale
I wouldn't think this would affect people looking to buy Saturdays tickets. -
My DVR is full of HD sioux hockey games I have been watching daily for the past week. Broadmoore, MacNaughton Cup, Sioux Gophers. The OT Final Five goal never gets old.
-
If the Sioux don't look past Michigan and play April 9th? No I don't have tickets. Which is partly why I was wondering. I would love to make the game Saturday. Just curious what the max people would pay. Depends on where the seats are located I would guess (and how much money you make ) I, along with a few others, sold our second row championship game tickets in Milwaukee to a couple Wisconsin fans for $250 each on the street. I would think that might be what tickets could go for? Ebay listing for 2 championship game tickets there is two hours left. Hope they go to a couple Sioux fans. Currently at $350. if the sioux play saturday and anyone has an extra ticket I will be available. One poster to another

NCAA to drop settlement and sanctions if UND wins title

Boo. -
Depends how nice it is. But well over a $100 Million. My guess would be like $150,000,000-$200,000,000.

If I could only remember all those renderings I have seen from UND/Grand Forks over the years. *National hockey hall of fame *Car/aerspace museum *lightrails *new alumni center *remodeled memorial union (somesort of big UND sign on the outside). fyi they have not vanished off the internet. just go to JLG Architects website. If I remember correctly the open air horseshoe design was no longer apart of the "plans" but who knows. Sweet pics of the ralph and alerus center on the JLG website.

UND and the Changing Landscape of College Hockey
Cratter replied to nodakvindy's topic in Men's Hockey
I am saying would UND hockey be as big as it is if UND was playing Division III hockey? Or Division III schools in Division I hockey? Would UND be drawing 11,000 a game for moorehead state, minot st, blackhills st, mayville st. Its not about adding schools to college hockey for the sake of expansion. Its quality over quantity. and UND needs to do what's best for UND. How far will attendance suffer in a water-down league? Attendance is basically at a peak. Not to mention you could say UND just lost over $180,000 ($15 extra a game ticket for playing Minnesota x 12,000) for Minnesota leaving the WCHA. (probably more if Wisconsin was scheduled to play at the ralph the same year unlike this one). -
UND and the Changing Landscape of College Hockey

It's like adding a Summit league school to out beloved WCHA. UND needs to do what's best for UND, not what's best for College Hockey. I could care less if "weaker" programs fold. They are exactly that: weak. If there was less teams in college hockey, Minnesota and Wisconsin would have to travel more for nonconference Big Ten games to places like UND. The Big Ten is not good for college hockey. The WCHA did not add BSU and Omaha cause it was good for college hockey, they did it cause they thought it was good for the WCHA. They knew Minnesota and Wiscosin were leaving and had to do something about it. If Minnesota and Wisconsin can leave the WCHA so should UND. -
Sweet. No pressure.
-
Just like the team not celebrating certain trophies. I think it might be appropriate for us Sioux fans to take it one game at a time.
-
Who they pick to win it all?

Its close but I think it passes. There is a lot there available for sale (I believe) so that's the buffer. But in other words I guess that restaurant couldn't have a liquor license. stupid. Where as Olive Garden and Grizzly's would be back to back. lomackman is a troll with a -91 reputation please don't feed him.
-
In case you missed it Olive Garden applied to the city council for a alcohol permit, but city law would need to be changed. It currently says liquor licenses need to be 300 feet apart. The olive garden would be too close to Grizzlys. Interesting to note that a Johnny Carinos (who many says might actually be better than the Olive Garden) actually opened in Bismarck before the Olive Garden did.

The sad part is they can't even get that right! The Herald states: Unless I am mistaken, UND Fan said nothing of the sort. Hey Chuck, do I get credit for the correction? I only caught this cause I was like this doesn't "sound like" something UND Fan would post. I need a life. -
Forum Rules: Nope, Couldn't tell ya. But I will let the real moderators answer Meanwhile the thread about Don Lucia turned into a conversation about RWD. Which would seem to be against the rules: No thread hijacking or killing.

I know your new and to please the administrators I will say: Welcome to Siouxsports.com But let me fill you in. UND can't host a regional in the hockey. The NCAA only awards them to neutral sites. The Ralph ain't in the running.
-
I think its best you try and get over your doomsday fear. The Fighting Sioux ain't going anywhere. Its thelaw of the land!!! Not playing Wi and MInn? Ohh no way. We never played them besides hockey when we were D2. Seemed to get by fine.

Good Poll. I like the majorities answer.
-
Yeah tongue in cheek. I support the football team just as much as the hockey team.
