I wish to make this list of UND's richest alumni in chronological order of net worth, but it will be a difficult list to put together. I will need some help..(I am sure these figures have changed or are estimates) Peter Nygard $817 Million Mark Chipman: $130+ Million Rick Burgum: $63 Million Phil Jackson: $45 Million Greg Page: $50-60 Million??? Richard Fontaine: $20-30 Million? Dave Fennell: Sally Smith??? Then there is the 10,000 millionaires in North Dakota, with almost 1 in 100 of them worth more than 30 mill, That I am not sure went to UND.

In one of the oddest moments I have seen in a press conference, I was watching Mussman's postgame interview on fightsioux.com after the win versus U of Sioux Falls, A reporter asked why he thinks this team seems to play better on the road than at home.. Muss said on the road everything is scheduled and its about football all the time. While at home, He said well basically...He worries about it being Friday night...implied that they might be doing "stupid things.....cause he said: He basically stopped short (caught himself) of implying they might be out getting drunk/partying on Friday nights. My opinion. And then later didn't understand why his players weren't motivated for the game...It was "shocking." Reading GopherPuckLive is sad: They constantly compare themselves to the state to their west with only under 700,000 people. It really is sad they think of North Dakota* as their main rival and not Wisconsin who they have decades of hate based on all sports. (*in hockey)

This. This becomes a big issue quick. This is another reason why sports need to be in the same conference. Worse case scenario: NCHC approves the stipend, but UND can't offer anyone cause the Big Sky and (W)WCHA doesn't allow it either, while the Goofers are offering recruits $2,000 extra a year. Same thing with NDSU. Wouldn't be able to offer football players if the Summit doesn't approve.

Isn't it a way to keep the "big" schools happy. So they don't break away and start their own league...BCS basketball? I'm sure that $2,000 will double soon enough.

You haven't been to the Alerus in nine years but somehow you think they need to cheer more based on a few fans that were at the UNC game (of which most I would guess don't live in GF)? Away fans are usually the diehard fans. The ones that would travel from GF to Greeley and they are the ones that would probably cheer pretty good. I ain't completely following your logic. The thread is about attendance, not atmosphere.
