Every body says its so hard (or expensive) to get a camera to be pointed constantly at the scoreboard and broadcast it. Yes it is silly UND can't have a power play clock. You play the schedule they were handed. The key part is they only lost one game against FCS opponents. And lets not forget Mussman had to recruit players during a transition in which they were not playoff eligible.

Good Topic. I give credit where credit is due. Mussman and the rest of the Fighting Sioux did a great job last year. While it wasn't pretty they got the job done. 3-8 to 8-3. Looking forward to the Big Sky next years. Should be fun. The schedule looks awesome.

This very well could be true. We will never know. But the unfortunate part is this thread will be around for a long time now and anytime the Sioux have a bad game next year it will reappear. It's a double edged sword. While I definitely have been critical of Mussman, he is the coach of the year in the conference. And as our world turns only bad things get reported. There is no thread titled Mussman Named Great West Coach of the Year for the recruits to read. UND needs just as many cheerleaders as they do antagonists.

Which could have been a winnable game, but it was the first game of the season versus a scholarship school, against an opponent that is in a higher football classification than UND. Lil premature I would say.

I wonder how this thread helps recruiting. Mussman visits a recruit at their home. Kid thinks about going to UND, logs on the computer....Oh it says here the fans want to fire their coach. "This can't be good." I can't believe NDSU (and UND) are competing for a kid (Woods) with Moorhead! This could be the kids way of saying he wants to attend college in Fargo.
