  1. Fargo was a good fit for Bohl. The city embraced him and stroked his ego. His was THEE game in town. If not for that University up north with a hockey program the entirety of ND would have been his. Now he'll get that same Fargo treatment but in Cheyenne, Laramie, Casper, Cody, et al. Wyoming will be his, and his alone. Wonder how Ryan feels about this ... and her son ... and her son's father ... then again, $1M sugar-daddy ain't bad, assuming ...
  2. We accept and appreciate outside views and opinions, even ones we may vehemently disagree with. That other crew you hang with ... eh, not so much. Jussayin'.
  3. That plane is a single-turbo prop. That could land in my back yard. Why not Laramie? I'm going to be skeptical until it's real. (But, I'm leaning that it will turn out that way.)
  4. That flight is to Cheyenne, not Laramie. What am I missing?
  5. Rule? Don't know. Gentlemen's agreement amongst ADs? Again, don't know. Now if Bohl approached them ... there's nothing to stop that I guess. I don't know. But this is some theatre. Too bad. People should be talking about the amazing halftime adjustments by NDSU today ... ... and who's next to coach UND.
  6. The guy I feel worst for in this? WYOBISONMAN. He probably doesn't know if he should laugh or cry.
  7. CAS: Please watch the language. That's acceptable in Bisonville, but not here. Others: Do not quote such posts as they will be deleted. Thank you.
  8. Quite the string of assumptions there. Impressive. How about: on a last chance, moving violation, gone.
  9. Appeared intoxicated? C'mon CAS, you know that's worthless in the criminal world. All that counts is BAL or breathalyzer. Now in the employment world on a "last chance" in a right to work state any screw up (moving violation) is enough.
  10. Do many more care about the FCS championship? I'm not disrespecting FCS; I'm merely observing its relative importance in the sports spectrum.
  11. Niche sport with its own television network.
  12. I know your resume is on the fax machine and ready to go on the 10th. Whatcha asking for?
  13. Weren't you the guy saying Faison, as part of the national search, should be having hypothetical conversations with hypothetical candidates? That could hypothetically add velocity to the hypothetical contract closing process. Hypothetically. PS - If UND were to need an AD in the future, I'm available.
  14. I'll one-up you and say the 12th at a 2 pm press conference. That way the person can attend the Friday boosters luncheon on the 13th before the NMU/UND series.
  15. 1. Faison handled the first Hardee problem internally which was appropriate at the time (if documented internally). 1a. GF media (as someone said) dropped the ball regarding whatever parts of that were public record. 2. Hardee had to go as of 0506 PST Sunday morning. 3. Where is UND's procedure for annual license checks for people who operate their vehicles or vehicles the University rents? Shouldn't that be a University process (not just athletics)? 4. CAS: take some of the advice you've given to me at times. Jussayin' ...
  16. I'd say they should be patient enough to allow for a new coach to be named. That's going to be before the end of the semester is my assumption.
  17. OK, so most of these applications won't see Faison's garbage can; instead, they'll see the garbage can in UND HR because they didn't meet minimum requirements.
  18. Yeah-right. We know your application is completed, in the fax machine, with a timer set to send it at 3:55 pm on the 10th.
  19. Don't put in words that aren't there. I said the PSU cops will report what they can determine. That doesn't involve framing. It involves evidence and proof, not internet speculations. I'm thinking the hotel probably has security cameras out front and the PSU cops are retrieving those.
  20. The Big T-elev-en *made* them do it.
  21. At 0505 hours, if the driver was unaware of an issue, I'd say the passengers may have been unaware as well. I trust we all drive and holding that wheel is the best sensor of what is happening to the vehicle. At this point it's simply coming down to: - if Hardee knew he'd hit something and left, he's wrong. - the PSU cops will have a report of what they can determine.
  22. Isn't false arrest a common law tort, thus, it's not false arrest until proven in a court? Translated: A cop can arrest you if they think they have cause. If they're wrong it's not your call to decide they're wrong and try to resist.
  23. When did Hardee know he'd hit another unoccupied vehicle? This is paid administrative leave, not unpaid. That, to me, says Faison is taking a cautioned stance until they get the facts. If it was unpaid I would expect they were preparing for a dismissal.
  24. Every departure is an opportunity for a new player who wants to play for UND and its new coach.
  25. Faison getting out in front of a not so great looking situation. That's why he's good. If Hardee did knowingly damage an unoccupied vehicle and drive away he deserves to face consequences. If he unknowingly did damage he should make someone whole for the damages. Clearly there's more to this than we know at this time. Knowingly committing hit and run is wrong.
