Regarding Chyzyk, well, we know two things: 1. It wasn't a hockey stick. Those suckers are more than $250 these days. 2. You aren't an accused thief facing charges and a member of Coach Hakstol's team.

Guys, honestly, I'm a sports fan, but hiring a coach is not an "emergency" for UND or any other school.

I trust in your ability to multitask.

The NMU series sets the tone for the second half: - will the team come out and continue to put in strong performances, or - will the team run hot and cold night to night.

I would prefer a head FB coach who has a first commitment to UND Football, not to old chums and "insiders" in Grand Forks, not to family from the region, not to some ol' boys network, but to UND Football first and foremost.

I'm hearing Popster won't be looking for a new morning host and instead hearing words like "pre-nup". Not sure how good the source is however. I'd do hope the source is wrong. Then again ... (words here about leopards and spots) ...

I'm not saying distraction to the coaches as much as to the 18, 19, and 20 year old players that are feeling the way Johnboy feels.

Did some of the penalties happen during play and some after the whistle? I believe that can be used to account for serving and when release.

And now the rumor is he's offered five of his assistants to come with him? Distraction. D-I-S, T-R-A, C-T, I-O-N. Distraction.

Has there been an attributed, on the record source for this story anywhere? It's all anonymous sources. Until I see a real name or see Bohl in front of a Cowboys banner in Laramie I'm not believing all of it.

Smilin' Tim Miles left one great class for his successor. Will Bohl have done the same for his? And will Miles and Bohl ever work for the same AD again? </soap opera music>

DCs have come and gone under Bohl, but the OC remains. To me that is very telling. I've always assumed Vigen was the heir apparent.

I have said what I have said. In all seriousness, this may *give* time to Faison as this Bohl turmoil may give pause to some local recruits.

Clean up the penalties. Play 60:00, not 59:40 and hope Zane bails you out. And c'mon Rocco ... bury those breakaways!* *Rocco: They have you figured. You try to get in tight. There's a ton of film. They don't even look for a shot until you're within five feet. You need to snap one from the dots on a breakaway to get them honest again.

As I've said, when things don't make sense, when up seems down and down seems up, stop, breathe, rise above, look objectively, and ... ... follow the Benjamins. All will be clear.

Fargo was a good fit for Bohl. The city embraced him and stroked his ego. His was THEE game in town. If not for that University up north with a hockey program the entirety of ND would have been his. Now he'll get that same Fargo treatment but in Cheyenne, Laramie, Casper, Cody, et al. Wyoming will be his, and his alone. Wonder how Ryan feels about this ... and her son ... and her son's father ... then again, $1M sugar-daddy ain't bad, assuming ...

That plane is a single-turbo prop. That could land in my back yard. Why not Laramie? I'm going to be skeptical until it's real. (But, I'm leaning that it will turn out that way.)
