Hypothesis: a supposition or proposed explanation made on the basis of limited evidence as a starting point for further investigation. Theory: a coherent group of tested general propositions, commonly regarded as correct, that can be used as principles of explanation and prediction for a class of phenomena If we test out his hypothesis to be correct, it becomes theory. (Yes, those are the science definitions. That's how my mind works.) And yes, his question is more hypothesis than theory at this time.

I'll take a point, solid performances from the team, a rest game for Cam, and no injuries.

If you'd have told me on the morning of Friday, February 26 that come Sunday, February 28: - one NCHC team has 53 points and locked up no worse than a share of a regular season title - that same team is one point from an outright title - there's a tie with 47 points for second place in the NCHC I'd have expected that SCSU swept UMD and UND had a bad weekend in Omaha. Whups.

Conferences have assigned their auto-bid to the post-season conference tournament winner to keep hope alive to the end of the season for teams that haven't done the work to make the NCAA's already. In the past some BB conferences that didn't do a post-season tourney gave the auto-bid to the regular season champ. In a hockey with PWR world (in a solid conference) that's redundant (save for the year CC won the WCHA and stayed home).

I'm saying game day scheduling. Fri at ... Noon(?) for WCHA Semi #1; 3 pm B1G Semi #1; 6 pm WCHA Semi #2; 9 pm B1G Semi #2 ... You could try a Thu/Sat (B1G) and Fri/Sun (WCHA) format, but do folks want to hang around to Sunday?

I'd say not to read anything more into that than Starman got a free weekend for him and the wife in Phoenix in February.

I have no unique insights or information on this subject. I just have my observations of people and their behaviors. First, I would be shocked to find out all of this happened in a vacuum. I want to believe Grady would go to the coaches and let them know what's going on in his life. If Grady went to Bubba with a situation as some have speculated/stated, what would Bubba say? What would Bubba recommend? Not having a neural link directly to Bubba's mind I can only speculate (based on observations), but I'd guess Bubba'd say: finish out fall semester (don't waste that work), then be where you need to be for family and commitments you've made by your actions, but don't lose sight of your education (like community college). After you take care of those first things the situation can be re-evaluated. Or, I could be all wrong.

Many folks like to say team is family, and they're right. But blood is family.

Weasel words? One man's weasel words is another's posing of a hypothetical question. I see that as posing a hypothetical question without the overhead of explicitly saying "Hypothetically, could it be he wants ... ". I have no problem with hypothetical questions because they make one think critically, and outside of one's comfort zone, about a situation.

Idaho is playing SBC FB in 2016 and 2017. That's already in the contract. This is the "something NOW" action set in preparation for the 2018 FB season. If Idaho gets punted from the SBC in a couple weeks and the NCAA acts in March shortly after that (when they are meeting), that's two years from the start of the 2018 FB season. Shockingly enough, two years is the duration of an FCS --> FBS transition ( see: Volley's theory ) I'm not saying it's going to happen (lots and lots of moving parts in many, many places), but the timeline behind Volley's theory is still in play.

But what if the Big Sky ... ( see Volley's theory ) ...

Like I said before, eliminate the circle object behind the eye that gives clear reference to a (native) head dress and it'd be pretty solid.

What would be Idaho's best case scenario? Being able to play FBS money games and have home FBS games against nearby rivals (to fill the seats).
