BigGame Posted October 31, 2007 Posted October 31, 2007 Does anyone know if Direct TV carries the FSSN? It does not, the only way to get FSSN is on a digital KU band satellite Quote
BigGame Posted November 2, 2007 Posted November 2, 2007 or cable True, I guess I was looking at it as an outsider to the regional or local cable viewing audience. Quote
iceberg Posted November 2, 2007 Posted November 2, 2007 true. I didnt know if the OP was in ND or not Quote
wsdSIOUXfalls Posted November 2, 2007 Posted November 2, 2007 True, I guess I was looking at it as an outsider to the regional or local cable viewing audience. You don't need to be too "local". If you have Midcontinent Cable, check here to see if Sioux games will be broadcast in your town. http://www.midcocomm.com/LatestNews/UNDAth...edule/Index.cfm Quote

westsidesioux Posted November 17, 2007 Posted November 17, 2007 Televising this game in Grand Forks is a very dumb move. I wish there was a way to black it out in Grand Forks. I predict 6,000 for attendance tomorrow....that'll be embarassing. I understand putting it on in the other markets....bad marketing move having it on in Grand Forks. Quote

I am watching it on the FSSN and Pat Sweeney said it was a sub-par crowd. Lots of empty seats from what i see. Quote
Siouxmama Posted November 17, 2007 Posted November 17, 2007 I think that's because it's Winona, not because the game is televised. It's a combination of both, but I believe the Winona factor has more to do with it. Last time we played them it wasn't televised and the attendance still sucked. Thats the reason I'm not there. We had tickets for the entire family, but I've been sick and figured I'd just listen to it on the radio. Had it been someone other than WSU, I probably would have gone anyway. Quote
