mygarske Posted October 28, 2007 Posted October 28, 2007 After this weekend, it's going to be hard for Marto to jump into the line-up in his place. Going to be tough for Radke to get back in as well. Especially since Forney has been throwing some good checks as well as making some nice offensive plays. I'd really like to see that kid get his first goal tonight!! Quote
Siouxdonyms Posted October 28, 2007 Posted October 28, 2007 Duncan getting mugged now when the puck is 20 feet away. Tech wanting to fight now. Stay smart boys. Quote

Especially since Forney has been throwing some good checks as well as making some nice offensive plays. I'd really like to see that kid get his first goal tonight!! Definitely. Hak said that Forney has shown in practice the past two weeks that he deserves a shot, and he definitely didn't disappoint tonight. No points, but definitely some scoring opportunities. Quote

Siouxdonyms Posted October 28, 2007 Posted October 28, 2007 Genoway 2 minute minor, Vande Velde a double minor; Duncan 2 minute minor Tech on PP. Let's go PK. Quote
johndahl Posted October 28, 2007 Posted October 28, 2007 still 6-0 with 2:47 remaining, Tech up a man 5 on 4. Quote
mygarske Posted October 28, 2007 Posted October 28, 2007 REALLY getting bad out there now. Duncs completely hacked in front, 2 handed the guy in the back of the legs and that started 3 or 4 different fights. Let's get this over NOW and get the hell out of town before we lose someone for next weekend. Quote
Siouxdonyms Posted October 28, 2007 Posted October 28, 2007 4th shutout for Jean-Phillipe!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Quote
UNDintheNHL Posted October 28, 2007 Posted October 28, 2007 I'd say JPL is doing rather well this year so far :-D way to go Sioux!! Quote
PCM Posted October 28, 2007 Posted October 28, 2007 Nice win for the Sioux! It makes a big difference when you can force the Huskies to play from behind. Quote
fargosioux Posted October 28, 2007 Posted October 28, 2007 JP with another shutout and a shot on goal for good measure! Quote
Siouxdonyms Posted October 28, 2007 Posted October 28, 2007 Sioux came out and made a statement tonight. Could care less about the #1 ranking. Just need to control what we can control, and tonight, we played Fighting Sioux hockey from beginning to end. Great game by Oshie and Dunc's, and Genoway and LaPoint played great too. Of course, Phil was Phil. Great team win tonight. Can't wait to hear Hak. Quote
sioux7>5 Posted October 28, 2007 Posted October 28, 2007 Good job boys. Great game for the Sioux and Congrats to Oshie for the hat trick and Congrats to Lammy for another great performance and shutout. Quote
mygarske Posted October 28, 2007 Posted October 28, 2007 Techie announcer said Hak had Finley out there every other shift, just in case. Quote
keikla Posted October 28, 2007 Posted October 28, 2007 I thought a stick salute was generally done after you WON a game Quote
SiouxFanatic Posted October 28, 2007 Posted October 28, 2007 Great win for the Sioux felt good spanking the Huskies 6-0. Lammy has really stepped up as goalie. What a season he is having so far! None the less Tech is right we are OVERRATED!! Quote
hobosid Posted October 28, 2007 Posted October 28, 2007 I thought a stick salute was generally done after you WON a game Same here... Quote
mygarske Posted October 28, 2007 Posted October 28, 2007 I thought a stick salute was generally done after you WON a game Northeastern did it last weekend too. Obviously not REAL hockey fans, you don't just toss the salute around like that, especially when you lose AND get shut out. Quote
Siouxdonyms Posted October 28, 2007 Posted October 28, 2007 TH: Extremely early Hobey Baker talk, Phil has been mentioned in it. Quote
siouxjoy Posted October 28, 2007 Posted October 28, 2007 Jean-Phillippe now has 8 career shutouts. Nice. Quote
