GeauxSioux Posted September 19, 2007 Posted September 19, 2007 Game Notes. The second-ranked Fighting Sioux football team (3-0, 1-0 NCC) faces its first NCC road test of the season when UND travels to Western Washington for the first time on Saturday. There is link to a PDF of the game notes on the Game Notes page. Prediction: Sioux 35 WWU 14 Quote
bincitysioux Posted September 19, 2007 Posted September 19, 2007 I think our passing game will be too much for them to overcome, Freund and Dressler will have big days. UND 38 WWU 17 Quote
BigGame Posted September 19, 2007 Posted September 19, 2007 Is anyone on the message board going to the game? I'm pretty excited because it will be my first chance to see UND live and in person in 6 or 7 years. I have also heard that Western Washington has a nice campus. Quote
star2city Posted September 20, 2007 Posted September 20, 2007 Game Notes. What was WWU able to do last year to keep the UND game close? So far, WWU has beaten UC-Davis but were shellacked by UNO this past weekend. Quote
UND92,96 Posted September 20, 2007 Posted September 20, 2007 What was WWU able to do last year to keep the UND game close? So far, WWU has beaten UC-Davis but were shellacked by UNO this past weekend. WWU utilized a lot of misdirection, as I recall, and it worked pretty well, but the main reason that game was close was because it was the first game post-Manke-injury, and the UND offense was extremely anemic that day. Sioux_Yeah_Yeah Posted September 20, 2007 Posted September 20, 2007 I will post a score prediction once I read the game notes.... It was pretty close last time Quote

Sioux_Yeah_Yeah Posted September 22, 2007 Posted September 22, 2007 I'm going to say UND wins 36-13 (That's the average of both teams from the last 2 times we played them haha) Quote

UND Fan Posted September 22, 2007 Posted September 22, 2007 UND 38 WWU 27 Game may be closer than this score indicates! Quote
Stromer Posted September 22, 2007 Posted September 22, 2007 I think this is the week the team proves the critics wrong. People have said that the D is untested this year and that the team may be overranked. UND 34 WWU 7 Quote
dakotadan Posted September 22, 2007 Posted September 22, 2007 I hope the late start doesn't mess with the guys too much. An eight o'clock start is a little different than a 1 o'clock start. Either way, the guys win big. Quote

Yes, I'm in Everett celebrating my daughters Sweet 16 Birthday and will head to B'Ham. Seen the Everett Silvertips last night at the Comcast Arena. Nice play but nothing ever compares to the Ralph. Tips lost to Tri City Americans 6-5. Lot of energy in the rink last night. The Ralph needs to ROCK this season. I see the Sioux giving it to WWU by 14. Heading to Qwest Field on Sunday watch my beloved Seattle Seahawks. Might get a chance to get on the Sioux Radio Network @ Halftime. I'll give a report over the weekend. Quote

WiSioux Posted September 22, 2007 Posted September 22, 2007 Fighting Sioux- 73 WWU-2 I think the Sioux will win big... I just don't think it'll be that big. I'm guessing we'll win by 25-30 points Quote
