This is for certain GPL'ers who like to lurk and/or post on this board. And yes, there are both types.

How do you like our "french piece of crap" now?

Funny all the vitriol spewed Lammy's way because of his supposed showboating. Let me tell you watching the numerous jersey tugs from your halos over the past year is just an extra layer of sugar on this win.

Enjoy your golf clubs.

My opinion of him has not changed. He just won a big game, he's still the same person. Even though I only saw one instance of him showboating tonight (but I look for it much more closely now too), but it was not too bad. He's getting better. :silly:

You are a good fan, but wasn't your head buried in a toilet at Dagwood's (the name has changed since) last year during the regional? Just curious . . . .

So you were there? :silly::) That was.....not a good day for me. But for the record it was not in the toilet, would have been a lot less messy if it would have been though! That was my way of forgetting the game the night before!!!!!

It was all over the bathroom, people's hair etc. I blame Cardinal warm yukon jack is never good.

Yeah, warm Yukon Jack after a gut full of beer is just asking for trouble. And playing a drinking game to the song "Roxanne" was not good as well. I think Siouxnami witnessed the whole thing as well (if I know my SS people). Did not make it to the Sioux vs. Michigan game that night. :silly:

Yep, standing upright, peeing, hoping you were going to survive . . . as your friends escorted you out, I gave you a siouxsports shoutout, but it was too much for you to comprehend at the time . . . good laugh for all of us!

I said all day that Lammy would have a great game, he was a wall for 38 minutes last night, and it would continue tonight. But i'm sure he was sieving himself for a while yesterday.

I'm not going to lie and say I'm not a little worried... BUT, Phil played good enough to win twice, and that is all we need. I also have to expect that the nerves are out of his system at this point.

pretty sure that Briggs was sieving himself for awhile yesterday, every one of the goalies was. :silly:

I am sure he will get plenty of stay in your net lectures prior to the FF. Trust your D Phil and everything will be fine.

If you have to look closely for it, it's not showboating.

I think Lamoreaux acquitted himself well.

But all this UMN goaltender sieving himself is just not true. Frazee didn't play poorly at all. And, yes, I thought it tremendously fitting that Frazee was in net instead of Briggs.

Yeah, he's got all these records, but Siembida was like 12-4 his last year with the Sioux and 17-10 overall as a Sioux. If a goaltender that bad can put up that kind of win/loss record, then it doesn't surprise me that Briggs can get the record he got over the years. Especially since his freshman and sophomore years were faced with either playing Briggs or Justin "SIEVE" Johnson. Yeah, I don't like Briggs, but he's FAR better than JJ was. If JJ was a competant goaltender, I'm thinking he would have been just another goaltender for the Gophers.

Oh, and if you want more goaltender competance, I'm 98% positive that if Briggs was in net, this game wouldn't have gone to overtime. And it wouldn't have been this close.

Frazee was the reason why this game went to OT. He was solid. Next year he can look forward to much more playing time.

Anyone else shocked at how low the WCHA total wins by a goalie record is. I'm not sure, but I think if Parise would have stayed, he might have set it.

Its been over a year since this happened but it is pretty funny now that you guys bring this up because I was also at Dagwoods that night-day and just happened to get a little puke on me due to a Gopher fan and now I know it was FIRE HELMET BUY. Small world and pretty funny after the fact. I do remember the looks of that bathroom as well.

I agree with these statements, what I meant when I said all of the goalies was all of the goalies on Saturday. Sunday, both goalies did a good job and are the reasons that the game went to ot and so long in ot. Frazee for as much as I make fun of him some days is still a good goalie. Ok, hitting post before I realize what I just said. :silly:

If he's still there.

There are some strange whispers flying about ....

I'd be SHOCKED if Frazee wasn't in Minneapolis next year (unless he has courses on the St. Paul campus :silly:)

I have to agree I can't imagine any pro team wanting him. Seriously.
