KBG
Just throwing out an idea here... On POI we are organizing a game between Gopher fans and St Cloud State fans. The Huskies are having a hard time finding people who can both a.) play hockey and b.) operate a computer. I thought maybe the Sioux would be able to put a 10-man/woman roster together to challenge our Gophers team at some point. Btw, I don't want to organize this, just thought it might be fun
dagies
That sounds intriguing but I can only skate a little and can barely stop . I only own a bad pair of skates and a stick and a puck. I'll bring a puck. I played a couple of pick up games while I was in school (15 years now) but haven't since then. It would be fun to play. U2Bad1
I could be the enforcer lol

Greyeagle
You could shadow Handyman. Â That's a big role. Remember, it's not the game, it's the beer at the bar afterwards that matters. KBG - Ice hockey? Thank God you specified, I thought it may be field hockey. That should be a two minute penalty.
Goon
If the Sioux fans team need a goon my services could be available. I can skate but I am not very good at any thing else...
Wantagh
Now that would be a heck of a game. I know I could get myself and the guy that has the season ticket next to me. We'd be up for something like that.

That made me think of Handy in a skirt. That should be a game disqualification.

dagies
But slower. I can hit the ice with just as much speed!
roper1313
If Sioux fans will let a UMD alum/UND season ticket holder on the team then you've got a decent stay at home defenseman.
mksioux
I'm in...especially if the game takes place down here in the Twin Cities. Here's my resume (for the eventual cyber-Sioux captain): I'm a right-handed stay-at-home defenseman. Plus - I'm a die-hard Sioux fan and will battle the rodents 'til the death (or at least until happy hour) Plus - I can skate (forward and backward) Plus - I can stop (without the aid of the boards) Plus - I can pass (and sometimes even to my own team) Minuses - I can't shoot, I can't score, I notch very few assists, and I just get in the way on the power play Can I play coach? BigGreyAnt41
I think i'd be in with this. I'm on 20 though and not a very big guy.

morley
I'd be game, it would be fun to whip some gopher @rse, just as long as diggler stays on the bench. I've seen him skate, talk about a handicap.
Diggler
Hey! I'm not that bad! Wait, yes I am. I'm willing to block shots and slash people with little to no regard for my life, though.
Handyman
I will not be playing thank you very much! That would be a crime against humanity! All I know is the last game I played in I was part of the worst line change in history, me for Nick Angell, and later on he slashed me and I was ON HIS TEAM!!!! schmidtdoggydog
Handy, I think the slash gives all Sioux fans a newfound respect for Nick Angell!!!
Bacardio
I am in, if this thing gets off the ground (or ice) and there is proper medical personal at the game location. Then again if the game location is close (aka right next door) to a hospital, that would also work.
Greyeagle
You're in luck if MN fan Fire Helmet Guy shows up to watch. He is a firefighter for a local suburban dept (if you watched KMSP channel 9 Monday night you know he was busy!) and I think is EMS trained. I also think Gopher fan Supersock is/was a paramedic. We're a self sufficient group.
forecheck
I have skated on my new hockey skates about 3 or 4 times now. I can skate forward ok, inch backwards, and cannot stop. But hey, I'm improving! I have some of my stepbrother's old hockey gear that has been sitting in the trunk of my car since this summer. You won't want me on your team. But.....I am trained in First Aid and CPR, and would be willing to organize such an event, and maybe even take pictures if I can stop laughing at Handyman vs. Diggler. When would this take place? During the Final Five would probably be the next time fans of both teams would meet up this year, I'm guessing.
PCM
I'll shoot some photos and write the USCHO game recap. I used to be a pretty good skater (by South Dakota standards), but it's been years since I've been on skates. As long as we stick to 20-second shifts, I'll be fine. There's something to be said about a guy named Handyman shadowing a guy who took his name from a porn star! What I don't know? But I'm not bringing my kids just in case. Handyman
Are you all mental?? I said I aint playing!!! Maybe I will be the guy who opens the door to the penalty box, those guys have the best jobs! That way when Diggler comes in I can pummel him
