Whenever an issue happens in general for a college team the buck always stops at the head coach Seems likely they fire him and hire one of the "least at fault" assistants just to get through the year and then start from scratch in the spring of 2027 with a 100% new coaching staff. I realize this doesn’t fit your narrative, but I would bet that not being heat-acclimated yet (he had only been in town for 5 days) and being denied water/break had everything to do with his collapse…not if he got a vaccine a half decade ago or not. 1 2 Quote
