Way faster than I thought they would be.

We looked slow.  Last couple nights I watched the '97 and '00 championship games, and we looked fast.  Faster than I would have expected for being 25-30 years ago.  We did not heed the motto "speed kills."

Still trying to understand the complete lack of urgency and creativity on that 5 on 3.  Did they really think one-timers were the only way to go?

yes.  less finesse, more grease.

fun city easy to get to. There aren’t a lot of good warm weather destination spots where you can also walk around.

I expect them and Salt Lake City to both be announced after the 2028 one in the next group of 4

The QU game was an abomination as this team was not playing its' best hockey down the stretch the last month or two.   They would sleep walk through periods and today it caught up with them.   Rarely did they come out ready to go at first puck drop.  They have a young team and a bright future.  Hopefully they don't lose too many early and have another run in them next year.

Perron would have been a difference maker for UND this year.  Probably just what we needed in a game like today's.

Would team chemistry have been bad again though.  When one guy doesn’t have the same mindset, it can be a problem.  Still think it was addition by subtraction.

Another would have been Arizona. But they took out the ice plant and it’s in god awful Westgate.

I've been under the assumption that it will be a massive success.  Not sure how much work it is to host, but UND has been and continues to go to town hosting regionals.  I would assume they'll be encouraged to host in LV again.  Now, someone needs to host in Nashville.  Maybe Wisconsin?  There's no NHL rink in Wisconsin, and they hosted Tampa in 2016.  Also, I noticed Denver is the host in Chicago coming up.  What's the connection there?

Yeah, I guess there's that.

Man, if your goalie puts up 0.67 and .978 in 3 tourney games, you should really be playing in the title game.

Michigan has controlled good portions of this game, but Denver is so comfortable in close games. Michigan isn't making as many brutal mistakes as they have in previous Frozen Fours.

Felt like Berry or just that culture in general sucked the life out of several guys, Perron included. Definitely checked out, which was disappointing, but happy for him that he's playing well & confident

I have a bit of difficulty being happy for a player who checked out of a season while his team was trying to earn a playoff spot.

Perron is much like Gersich. Produces when paired with NHL talent. Won't stick in the N. I forget who it was, but a big name defender smeared Shane for trying something cute in the preseason. Perron also has someone he knows well (former Steel teammates) questioning why he gave up on the boys at UND that plays an integral part in the franchise with his rights.

He's now in the KHL
