Looks like we are very likely to be in Duluth’s bracket. God help our defensemen discover how to keep themselves between the puck carrier and the goal

If UND at 2 draws an autobid 15, I'd rather it be an ECAC team than OSU, who is used to going toe to toe with the big boys.  Or BC, which wouldn't be a treat either.

If BC makes it, they will end up in Worchester for attendance.

Albany and Worchester are closer to Ann Arbor than Sioux Falls.

UND is the only 1 seed inside the 550 miles to a regional (550 miles is what I saw someone say is the threshold for closest reginal placement before a flight is a flight NCAA rule).

Big ten is a joke I'd happily play any team

Are we feeling confident that it will be Sioux Falls?

As the #2 overall seed, yes.  If we were #3, bracket integrity could take us to Loveland if Denver is #6.

Would be interesting if the coaches give KV limited ice time at regionals to reduce the possibility of his big gaffes at times. (Probably not) But hard to imagine Jubenvill being routinely exposed like KV was tonight. Experience matters this time of the year, & Jubenvill is exactly 5 years older than KV (22 vs 17): a big gap in development & maturity, which matters a lot in 1-&-dones...or it could have simply been an off night for KV.

Honestly the distance alone would keep UND in Sioux Falls. UND can bus the other 3 have to fly

Added Princeton and Clarkson who both move on to the ECAC semis next weekend.

Also, Bentley is currently 25 in NPI.

There are a couple flaws in this list, too.

Clarkson and Princeton are both still alive in the ECAC.  Clarkson would be a lower seed than Bentley, if it happened to work that way.  Princeton should have been up by Merrimack.  Harvard still technically still alive, too.

you beat me to it :)

Also, is Augustana still alive?  Seems like they are at the mercy of the HEA playoffs, and potentially the CCHA championship game.

You could have two CCHA teams in the tournament if the purple cows beat St. Thomas and no other upsets.  That could mean UND-Mankato in Sioux Falls.

Hopefully UCONN ends BC's season.  Merrimack a punchers chance.  They win two games and they could end up in Massachusetts or Albany.  It'd be a shame if no Beanpot schools made it.

I wouldn't count Clarkson out in the ECAC.  They looked good against the Q sweeping Rand in his home rink.

Will have to play with a predictor ... with them currently at 16, they would need a team ahead of them (St. Thomas, UMass or UConn) to fall behind them. and then that would be if there aren't any spot stealers that win their conference.

In a one-n-done NCAA format, I would want Liv, Wiebe, Z, and Emery as our top 4 dmen for TOI.
Def not the best game for KV tonight.
