Scratch Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago Looks like we are very likely to be in Duluth’s bracket. God help our defensemen discover how to keep themselves between the puck carrier and the goal 1 Quote
LuvHockey Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago Big10 has 3. NCHC 4. And there are your top 7 teams right now. Quote
jk Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago If UND at 2 draws an autobid 15, I'd rather it be an ECAC team than OSU, who is used to going toe to toe with the big boys. Or BC, which wouldn't be a treat either. Quote

SiouxFan100 Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago I was hoping we were good enough so whoever we played we could beat Quote
cberkas Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago Albany and Worchester are closer to Ann Arbor than Sioux Falls. UND is the only 1 seed inside the 550 miles to a regional (550 miles is what I saw someone say is the threshold for closest reginal placement before a flight is a flight NCAA rule). Quote

(Probably not) But hard to imagine Jubenvill being routinely exposed like KV was tonight. Experience matters this time of the year, & Jubenvill is exactly 5 years older than KV (22 vs 17): a big gap in development & maturity, which matters a lot in 1-&-dones...or it could have simply been an off night for KV. Clarkson and Princeton are both still alive in the ECAC. Clarkson would be a lower seed than Bentley, if it happened to work that way. Princeton should have been up by Merrimack. Harvard still technically still alive, too. Quote

Dustin Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago Also, is Augustana still alive? Seems like they are at the mercy of the HEA playoffs, and potentially the CCHA championship game. Quote
Wilbur Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago You could have two CCHA teams in the tournament if the purple cows beat St. Thomas and no other upsets. That could mean UND-Mankato in Sioux Falls. Hopefully UCONN ends BC's season. Merrimack a punchers chance. They win two games and they could end up in Massachusetts or Albany. It'd be a shame if no Beanpot schools made it. I wouldn't count Clarkson out in the ECAC. They looked good against the Q sweeping Rand in his home rink. Quote

Will have to play with a predictor ... with them currently at 16, they would need a team ahead of them (St. Thomas, UMass or UConn) to fall behind them. and then that would be if there aren't any spot stealers that win their conference. RedFrog Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago (edited) Probability Matrix is updated: https://www.collegehockeynews.com/ratings/probabilityMatrix.php Winner of St. Thomas and Mankato is in, the loser is out. Augustana can still sneak in. Edited 11 hours ago by RedFrog add link Quote
