Long Snapper 92 Posted yesterday at 06:28 PM Posted yesterday at 06:28 PM Is there any way for the mods to silence this guy? Gotta be some sort of rule he’s breaking that can put him in timeout for a bit Quote
UND1983 Posted yesterday at 06:42 PM Posted yesterday at 06:42 PM If my kid wasn't very good, and the team wasn't very good, I certainly wouldn't be on a message board asking for a coaching change. I would be exploring D2/D3 opportunities because after watching this team play there aren't many D1 players on the roster. 1 Quote

Yeah, but that isn't what you originally stated. No one has confirmed whether the multi-year part is accurate or not. I would guess it was at least a 2-3 year deal from the beginning though. Things are definitely being run as if he has a contract through at least next year. While still not common, it is not unheard of for a coach to go into the last year of their contract either. Pretty sure MBB just made it to the conference championship game with a coach who was in the last year of his contract. Quote

SiouxFan100 Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago The wanted results have not been ther for UND women’s basketball for a number of years. If it is underfunded then hopefully that can and will be addressed. That is if UND can afford to address it. If we cannot afford it then we have a huge problem especially if men’s basketball has been addressed. Quote

If we can afford to buy out Bubba and Berry within months of each other, why can't we afford to hire a competent WBB coach? Quote

To argue this disillusion being stated here that it’s essentially all on coaching and nothing else, I had said facetiously he could win 54 straight on his way to another title here despite our lack of resources, etc. And you said essentially maybe he could. Which I found ludicrous. Nobody said with a different coach, they would be Summit League champs. Nobody said that they had an All-Summit League roster. Bottom line, the Coach put together the roster. He had a year prior to evaluate players on the roster. He will put together the next roster. Roster building is part of the job duties. If you are going to complain about the roster, talk to the Coach! Basketball operations and players have areas they can improve upon based upon last year. I do not have ties to any current players, coaches, or administrators in any athletic program at UND. Quote
