nascar99 Posted yesterday at 12:41 AM Posted yesterday at 12:41 AM This feels like a year for European gold. The US isn't strong enough in net across the 2006, 2007, & 2008 birthyears to make me feel like they'll get it done, and Canada doesn't feel like they can win enough tight checking games if they're forced to play that way. Johnny Five Posted yesterday at 12:41 AM Posted yesterday at 12:41 AM USA defenders gotta put some bodies on the ice in that scrum. Dumb penalty by Reid blows USA momentum. Quote
nascar99 Posted yesterday at 12:44 AM Posted yesterday at 12:44 AM Pradel probably needs to have that. He's an interesting potential recruit for most programs across the country Quote
Siouxdaddy Posted yesterday at 12:44 AM Posted yesterday at 12:44 AM Zellers dumps the puck in, changes and USA scores. Plus he had the secondary on the PP goal. Quote

TwamleyShuffle Posted yesterday at 01:01 AM Posted yesterday at 01:01 AM I hope Keaton gets a few goals and Canada starts playing him more Quote

TwamleyShuffle Posted yesterday at 02:01 AM Posted yesterday at 02:01 AM Fact: Keaton has recorded a point in every WJC game he has played in Quote

TwamleyShuffle Posted yesterday at 02:11 AM Posted yesterday at 02:11 AM If our guys can maintain this momentum from the WJC, we could have a fun second half of the college hockey season 2 Quote

Even you'd have to admit (as a Gopher fan) that Mooney is not the best forward option on the WJC team to be throwing out in short-handed or defensive shutdown situations. Mooney has elite stickhandling which can be great on the PP, but is easily tossed off the puck and has shown to turn it over when pressured. 3 Quote
