This team plays so much better in front of Spoon. It’s his net for the foreseeable future.

I thought nearly everyone was good tonight. I cannot wait to watch these freshmen grow.

Verhoeff now leads the team in goals.
Strinden now leads the team in points after his 4a night tonight.

And...much smaller sample size...but Spunar's stats are a wee bit better than Homer's.  Need to give Jan the nod next Friday against UNO to see if he can put together two strong games in a row.

So much depth that they can just roll 4 lines and rotate 2-3 guys out each night. Heck of a weekend for Ollie. Others as well, but Ollie really stood out both nights.

Tonight was great other than a stick salute for a split...what the hell is that about?  The boys looked like they did against St Thomas; just imposing their will until the other team crumbles.  Cody Croal and Ollie Josephson; those guys just exude Sioux hockey.  Keep it rolling next weekend against the Red Cows!

Love the playmof Ollie this weekend...always buzzing around the puck, and talk about tenacious on the PK!. More of that, and I really like what this team can become!

Now that was fun to be at. Most physical I’ve seen them all year and happy for Strinden since they honored his dad who passed away from brain cancer in July. Feel much better about this team after this weekend

Him and Zakreski along with James are a great group of PKer forwards.

Yeah, I get that.  Ranks right up there with the Pairwise Champs t-shirts UND put out.  Side note:  For some reason I really dislike the coach for ASU...just seems like a real weasel.

Came here to see if anyone knew why we did a stick salute, but there doesn’t seem to be a definitive answer. It felt a little cringey

Coming out of the weekend I'm more impressed with the Plante  brothers, and less impressed with Shaugabay.  When they don't have the puck he's a big time liability.  Zam and Max are energizer bunny type players and he just looks like he's gliding.  Next year when Victor is at Duluth you may as well have the all Plante line.

I imagine Detroit will try to sign Max this offseason, but the allure of playing with both of his bros will keep him at UMD.
That line would be crazy good.
But UMD will remain a one line team once again.  Shut down the Plante's, win the game.

UND held that line to a single point tonight. I thought that was impressive.
