1) Jerry continues with consistent throwing of the deep and intermediate ball, and take command of the offense even more, if the play isn't there pull that ball down and get on his horse and get a few more first downs.

2) Get Deng involved with the offense more, loved seeing 10 different players catch a ball from our QB's but would like to see Deng get a few plays drawn up for some deep passes. You can teach size and vertical jumping ability, would like to see a few jump balls.

3) Would love to see Z get some more chances to pound the rock this week, only 3 touches is a tough look for our lead back last year, i do not know if it was either it the game plan to play the others or is nicked up by injury and not wanting to get him hurt further against a team we didn't have to beat. Would like to see him get some more short yardage runs as he's a great powerback to wear down a D-Line.

4) Would like one of the receivers step out from the pack from the first game it looks like Tai may be the guy, just really want one of them to take the step and be the leader. I Think the Caden Dennis experiment at WR 1 is over no offense to him just have others who have a higher celling and need actual game experience.

5) Would like to see the LB cover a bit better over the middle could become a huge issue if that doesn't improve.

6) loved the push from the DL they looked good 80% of the game, need to seal the edges a bit better in the run game, and continue to pin those ears back the sacks will come. I want them to continue to rotate those guys in keep people fresh.

7) OC: would love to see a complete game called by our offensive coordinator, he did this last year, were he would have 3 quarters of decent to great play calling then boom a stinker of a quarter, we need a complete game.

8)HC/DC needs to continue to be aggressive all game with the defensive calls, the defense played better when they where aggressive, I don't care if we are up by 14 or down by 14, play aggressive and get after that offense.

9) Also take all the prevent defense plays on your card and black them out, prevent looses you games and I will die on that hill, I would rather see our boys playing press/ 5yards then sitting 10-15 yards back and letting the other team just work there way down the field. These kids are dogs at CB let them live and die by press coverage.

10) Stay healthy

11) Lastly go out there an make us fans proud, I want to argue with everyone here about who should play, because we have so many DOGS on this team, I want them to just get out there and play the game they love and make us proud, I want the fans to be like dam right I'm a UND fan and I'm proud of the team we love to spend our Saturdays watching in the fall year in and out.

I agree!!! @bubbaball69

I wonder if the goal line fumble led to less touches for Z.

Sends a message that if you don’t take care of the ball, someone else will.

OC seemed pretty ticked about the fumbles brought them up multiple times in press conference today.

Jerry wishes he could have that play back. We had all the momentum in the world with just taking the lead and then KSU fumbling the kick return.

OC might want to get a mirror out with his predictable deep shot that wasn't there all day long because of K. State speed and possibly our lack of a deep threat.  Then, OC followed up with another straight drop back pass I believe vrs a really tough and hard charging front.  With K. State pinning their ears back a screen probably was a play to be a step ahead of the D.

THEN, with 2:01 left in the game, why not throw the ball?  With the 2:00 automatic stoppage it's a free pass play without the negative incompletion stoppage.

Fruechte was a little hot/cold all game.  He wasn't much better than a C+ this game.

I agree with a lot of this, but I don't hold Freuchte soley responsible for all of the bad stuff.

I think the O must use the deep ball just to let the D know it's an option.

The big concern at the end was the OL inability to create any holes for the running game and when it was an obvious passing play you are correct that the D pinning their ears back should have made a screen pass look good.

I don't know if KS has the best D line UND sees, but I hope so.

My biggest gripe with Fruechte is the lack of Ziebarth touches. I understand he fumbled the ball but he’s our best hard nosed runner. 4th quarter trying to ice the clock and we run Leigh up the middle twice? That’s not his role. 9 carries for -1 yard…..

Got frustrated with the lack of Ziebarth touches last year too. He needs touches to wear the defense down. Now I don’t want to take away from Seidl either though because that kids special.

big difference when you pitter patter thru the hole at 1mph like x did on all or most of his runs versus the speed sawyer was hitting the gaps at ....makes up for a little margin of error when your playing FBS teams...

agree...with that drive with 2 minutes left...why not go 5 wide and spread em out which allows jerry to have some angles and lanes to run if neccessary which would've kept the clock running....

OR....triple tight end formation...no wr's and bring in Z and yell across the line to the k state that "our big boy is gonna close this bitch out....here he comes 3 times up the middle bitches..."

Would've loved for him to call a pass when Klieman called the time out before the 2 minute warning. Also was expecting maybe some different packages with JTJ, especially late when they were trying to ice the game, an RPO where the TE leaks out in the flat where you don't have to worry about an incompletion and the clock stopping.

i think danny ran a misdirection play to a te leaking out to close out a game in cali (poly or davis?) a few years back.....

Hindsight is 20/20. I still say we played one heck of a game against a ranked opponent in hostile territory. A first game and now refocus a little.

was reading a book while listening to the game (where the heck do I get TV for the games?) and had to stop reading.

My Saturdays are full and I follow 3 to 4 college teams… but I watch as many as I can and try to attend one game per year.

This. I thought when we pressured Johnson he made some terrible throws, I didn't like when we decided to go in prevent mode that final K-State drive. Make him get the ball out of his hands quick. It was successful all game.

Yes. he basically threw 5 balls that should have been interceptions.

I like Ziebarth a lot, but if there was a running back I wanted to see get the ball more, it was very easily Sawyer Seidl.

I’m good with that. Leigh didn’t do it for me though. Can be a pass catcher, sure.
