Other topic, I get going to USHL or CHL out of high school...to AAA?  Only if you are 16 playing prep AAA or better at an elite program.  One example of a late blooming player isn't the norm.  If you are leaving and then going to the NAHL...good luck to you.

1-1 Legacy and Shanley headed to the third period.  Shanley's best player got boarded pretty good and I think he's hurt and probably out of the game.

My son and I counted 9 Minot kids who fit this description. That’s counting Grubb though; the only one that it made sense to find a higher level to play at.

Legacy wins 4-1.  West avoids a sweep for the third year in a row.  Almost got two today.

Minot looked dead in the water in that third period. Don’t think they had a shot on net until around the 8 minutes mark. Had they played like the first 34 minutes it’s more than likely a W

Uffda Shanley looked rough, I caught the later parts of the game, came in right as the slewfoot was somehow called a minor penalty on Legacy.

PxP said Shanley's best player was boarder and hurt? I didn't see any penalties on that either?  I missed it so must not have been as bad as the announcer alluded?

Now do Bismarck..... you'll have to take your socks off and use your toes as well.

The really sad crap is family's being suckered to leave for a notable programs 15U " AAA " team....     15AAA is 16U tier 2 but hey that extra A gets the checkbook out.

Is the situation similar in Grand Forks?  I don’t follow high school hockey too closely, but my son GFC had a kid that battled Grubb when they were in bantams and could easily be playing AAA somewhere.
