Offensively the boys look MUCH better tonight.  Much more controlled with lots of puck possession. 

Hedquist will want that goal back for sure.  I think it caught him by surprise. 

Can obviously tell when our 3rd D pair is out there.

Mankato is doing a very good job winning the loose pucks around their goalie. Passing is off. Too many passes. Defense got worse as the period went on.

Not a bad period. Much more net presence than last night. Hobie not ready and not square on the goal against.

I thought the boys looked a little better at chipping and disrupting in the first tonight.  But...shoot the f'n puck when you are in the slot!!!  Than cutesy stuff at the end of the period led to no shot on goal and a chance the other way.

Hoping that the young talented players start to take off as the season progresses.  Def a lot of offensive skill on the team...just needs to show up more than just in spurts.

Some of our passing has been spot on. Others have been sorely lacking. Just gotta get more consistent.

 

And our defense needs to wake the hell up!
