I'm not sure, but I'm sure there is a co-op agreement that the state is okay with. Years ago you had the BW Blades playing on the North Dakota side of things and that included Breck kids playing in North Dakota. You would think the Spuds would want Park Christian as a co-op partner, but someone may know more than I do why the schools don't come together for hockey. Quote

The second day we was there they offered me a job at Marvin Windows so Amber could play there 2 Quote

A similar issue exists in East Grand Forks, where girls who attend Sacred Heart play for Crookston instead of the EGF Girls team. I do know there are agreements with Park Christian and Moorhead for Girls hockey, as that line has been crossed in the past. Another example was Wahp/Brek who played in the EDC for many many years and half their team was MN kids. Now they play in MN A West Central, and do FARRRRRR better than they ever did in the EDC, but half their team is still ND kids. Quote

The people they hire having kids that are above average hockey players is completely coincidental. 3 Quote

Not everything is a big competitive conspiracy Grenora, ND and Westby,MT co-op all their sports. I believe they all ply in Montana, except for wrestling, which competes in ND. Quote

Wilbur Posted February 14 Posted February 14 North got a gift from South/Shanley, who got the game to OT, and they get Davies instead of Mattern and WFHS right away. GFC vs. S/S or GPR RR vs. Sheyenne or Mayport North vs. Davies Devils Lake vs. WFHS 1 Quote
Johnny Five Posted February 14 Posted February 14 2 more games out west and they are back to back at VFW1 tonight: Hazen at Legacy for 6. If Legacy does the job, they grab the 3 seed. Jamestown at BHS. If Jamestown wins, they hold the 5, a loss keeps them at 6. Quote
