They gave two Friday; how many freebie goals did Goldie supply this time?

One empty netter on Sunday...Motzko looked thoroughly pissed on the bench and Pat the Rat seemed disappointed in the overall effort.

Parity though…

Found a team that is even more unlucky than UND! Miami have any injuries this year?

Not really, just bad puck luck for the most part.

Sounds like 12 would be cut from the team.

Berry off to Miami to get portal players ;):D

I have a feeling Miami may not be the only team doing something like this. I've said since the CHL announcement that there very well could be quite a few players on college hockey rosters with remaining eligibility that won't have roster spots on any college team next season.

Didn’t realize this, Norte Dame has only 2 regulation wins in the B1G. They also won both B1G tournament games in regulation.

My friend, who is a Gopher Superfan, said that there are four guys for Minny just waiting for the season to end so they can sign their pro contracts.  Watching Sunday’s game against the Irish, Minny did not appear to be giving it their all.  Maybe it’s because they already know they will be in the NCAA’s.

Any predictions on this weekend’s NCHC quarterfinal series besides UND’s?

I got Denver winning in two games. As good as CC’s played them at Robson this year, they looked like the Haviland era Tigers up at Magness and I don’t see that changing this weekend. CC will be lucky if they can pot more than two or three goals this weekend (am I sandbagging here a little bit?). I hope I’m proven wrong and CC can move on to St. Paul but it would happen in three. I can’t see DU not winning at least one game at Magness.

ASU over Duluth but in three. Duluth earned 6 of the 12 possible points in their 4 games during regular season. I kinda hope Duluth wins this series. If ASU loses, their season is over.

Western and Jan. The Broncos made relatively easy work of the Huskies in Kalamazoo last month but Isak Posch could keep St. Cloud in it and they stole a win at Denver lately, where Posch made 38 saves. I like Western but in three games. Could the Broncos get hot goalied in this series?

UND at UNO. In my highly unbiased opinion, UND will win the series in three just like they did a couple of years ago. The analytics in my head just can’t fathom the Mavericks winning this series so therefore let this prediction be true.

Edit: Duluth took 5 of 12 points in head to head against ASU.

Denver sweeps CC, I’d like to see CC win and move on. CC is right there to being the CC that would be hosting and making the NCAAs. (2-0 Denver)

ASU and Duluth going to 3 with ASU moving on. But Duluth has been playing better and could steal this series. (2-1 ASU)

WMU sweeps St. Cloud. If Posch never got hurt they probably would have been in the top 4 in the conference and in the NCAAs. (2-0 WMU)
