The way his foot looked I’d say NCHC tournament time

Ok, well they may not even get there without him.

And CC started the season 8-0, but is now 1-6 in Dec/Jan, and are currently behind UNO 2-1 in the 3rd period tonight.

CC’s scored only 6 goals the last four games and have sunk like a stone in the pairwise. They need a slump buster in a major way.

Fair??  Fair??  To be fair??

UMD is in the same boat that North Dakota is in by virtue of their play so far this season.  In two MUST-WIN games on the road against a higher-ranked in-state rival, they picked up two W’s.  In their two must-win games against the Sun Devils, North Dakota managed to squeak out a Saturday night 2 points.

Which team do you think had the more successful weekend?

Successful weekend, Duluth.

Couple things, Duluth was at home this past weekend and are in considerably worse position today both in PWR & standings than UND is.

Sigh.   More emoticons, I guess.

I stand corrected - I thought the schedule had UMD one the road at St Cloud.

With Miami going a year without a conference win, man did Bergeron kill that team. Looking at their remaining schedule I don't think they win another game all year.

Remind me again about how tough the NCHC is and about parity too to bottom.  This conference is in fact, no different than any other.  There will be heavyweights, middle of the pack teams, and doormats.

Blasi had one winning season in the NCHC and how bad the drop was to Bergeron is surprising after how he was at BGSU. I agree someone has to finish last just don't want UND there.

Howard left to be with his old coach from the National Development Team.  Not sure that NIL weighed heavily in his decision but I'm sure Michigan St probably came up with a better NIL deal than Duluth.

PLYMOUTH, Mich. — Isaac Howard entered the transfer portal after his freshman season at Minnesota-Duluth.

He chose Michigan State without having set foot on campus.

Why?

“I know what I’m getting out of Adam Nightingale and Will Morlock,” Howard said, referring to MSU’s head coach and strength and conditioning coach, respectively. “Those are two guys I trained with here [at the USA Hockey National Team Development Program]. Nightingale was my head coach. Morlock was my off-ice trainer.

“I’m going there to develop, first and foremost. That’s what it’s all about when you’re young.

More detail and that AIC has people trying to keep them D1. I've heard from people in that area that the school could close in around 5 years.

In terms of AIC and what’s ahead for the future of the program, work continues to be done behind the scenes to keep AIC where it belongs, where Lang has led the program to so much success — at the Division I level.

“I’ve had some people reach out financially, willing to save this thing. I’m not sure what that looks like on the institution’s side of things. That’s a conversation that I’d love to have,” Lang said.

“Since the news, [people have asked] ‘How can I help?' Friends of the program, local entrepreneurs, corporate marketing people. When you hold one of the Division I keys, they’re incredibly powerful.”

AIC?  Who the hell are we going to beat in the NCAA's if they leave?
