They applied back in 2013 (Kalen DeBoer) back when players still needed to shovel snow off the field just to practice, so they should be applying now!
 

In 2024, with brand new facilities and an in increasing salary pool, I’m sure some good candidates applied. Big-time potential for UND football. Now up to Chaves to pick the right one and sell it ……

No, sort of like Schmidt, lots of coaching stops, limited success, although Schmidt definitely got in on some winning with DeBoer at Fresno and Washington.
 

Schmidt > Tibesar, but I’d hope there is a better applicant than both.

How much time away from UND is long enough?

What part of Schmidt's time at UND don't you like?  The National Championship and All American status as a player or his leading Big Sky Defenses prior to being decimated by injuries.  His Defense one season lost so many guys it was mentioned on Sports Center. 

Or, after UND is it his Special Teams Coordinator and OLB coaching in the FBS National Title game that folks have doubts about?  UND might be too big of stage for him.

Juice meter from Walmart concentrate to Florida fresh squeezed he's close to the fresh squeezed end of the meter. Comes from a history of winning cultures,  young, would drive the fanbase to the south bananas and could recruit against the other 3 Dakota schools.

thought we were comparing resumes in late 2024 and seeing who would be the best candidate.  I pointed out Roehls lack of experience and of course now it’s dismissed cause he “won at NDSU”
