This was celebrated wildly in the 1990's when only ONE team had a shot at the title...

Soo...

1990's one-team league:  good.

2010's one-team league:  bad.

Makes perfect sense.

Wasn't disagreeing with you.  Just stated that one guy can make everyone love the league.

No thanks.  I gave up on the NBA when everyone else decided that Jordan and the Bulls winning every year was good for business.

11 billion is what was promised to FIFA from the North American bid. 11 billion would be more than double any previous tournament. 2026 is the first year with 48 teams.

At this point soccer is like women's hockey for me.  When you need to try and convince people of your relevancy, you're not....since we live in the U.S, that is.

Yea, those 100,000+ Peruvians needed convincing to travel to Russia to watch some pansies kick a round ball in skirts.

Once again... "Peruvians".  Read what I wrote.

Are you stating there are 100,000 Peruvians in Russia for the World Cup?

Argentina... woof!

The door is wide open for Iceland or Nigeria to get out of the group.

Nigeria even with a win against Iceland still needs a draw against Argentina.

With the way Argentina is right now, they could get at least that.   They are a mess right now.

I'm expecting Iceland to win tomorrow.
