Looking forward to seeing if the young D can continue to improve-Canady, Hunt and Bennett especially

Interested in seeing if Studs can't go, how Z does. Hoping for OLine improvement and Johannesson to have a good day.

For next season and beyond, this is an important game today.  We win today and there is a chance for 4-7 or even 5-6.  Lose today and we are staring down 2-9.    5-6 is miles from 2-9 when it comes to recruiting, fan support and overall direction of the program.  Will be much tougher to build an injury case at 2-9 than at 5-6 for prospective 2019 recruits.

And our last two games are our toughest outside of USD this year. That makes today even more of a must win.

Eason . . . sounds like he'll be getting the start.  Kid has some speed, but not a lot of experience.  Hopefully we get to him before he gets down the field.

He looked pretty solid in their first two games. Then again so did their entire team...

I've seen teams that lack size up front, let the D line stand up and basically play a scatter defense to confuse the OL and mess up blocking schemes. You joke but it has happened before. Never seen them use backup QBs or DBs up front but hey, it would be a new wrinkle. ;)

Didn't Green Bay do that a few years ago?
