Rebel_Sioux Posted March 17, 2017 Posted March 17, 2017 Disappointing end for sure, against a rival no less. And next to no press coverage for the women either. That being said, a WNIT bid is no small feat for a Big Sky team. They should be proud and hopefully next year they make the dance again.
BarnWinterSportsEngelstad Posted March 17, 2017 Posted March 17, 2017 We were not mentally ready for this game, refs were weak, SD looked like they planned for this game. ND had a great season and gained a lot of experience. We'll get better. One more year in the Big Sky then on to the Summit.

I would hate to know how the reaction would be had this been a Jones coached men's team that got destroyed by USD in the first round of the NIT. 1

Losing to Arizona is one thing but losing to the Coyotes is another. It was nice to capture another conference title but a win in the postseason would be nice. Hope to see them in a dance run next season.

There would of been some canon balls shot over the bow of Jones' boat. But that did't happen. We played a P5 team and were within seven around would could be called the beginning of the 4th quarter. 45 year old Jones also learned this season, hope we sign him soon.
