I think it would make more sense that it was his personal account and he decided to switch it. In this case, that "noise" are his interests and beliefs and he has every right to talk about that. I don't know the guy and don't agree with every opinion he shares but regardless of the reasoning, it's pretty silly to have a thread that's attacking the guy for something as silly as a twitter handle changing. When it was @UNDSID, whether the account was personally his or not, the perception was he was representing UND in a professional capacity. While representing UND, he should not be political. If he wants to post that stuff in his own name, I'm ok with it (still reflects poorly on UND to some extent with his bio ID'ing UND though). 11 Quote
