I’m not sure but my company was going to do a testimonial radio campaign with Paul Ralston on the air and right when we were about to pull the trigger we were informed he’d been let go from iHeart.

This is all new news to me! Will Paul Ralston still do Hawk Talk and Games?

Paul and Tim work for UND nothing will change from a PxP standpoint. They were part-time employees of iHeart.

Nothing will change... unless Tim isn't retained

Tim likely stays until he says he’s done.

That’s a great sentiment but his voice is about gone and trying to understand him on the radio is getting a lot harder

He knows that; he’ll go gracefully.

The KJ morning show stopped existing the moment both original Big Dogz were gone.

Been a couple of renditions of the Big Dogz

Flint & Tanner from the 80’s

Tanner & Mars starting in the 90’s

I was referring to Tanner & Mars. Those two had amazing on-air chemistry. They had a quarter of a century together. When Mars retired in 2020, it was the beginning of the end. :(

If he was going gracefully, as some in the athletic department expected, he would have finished out in 2025 after receiving the NCHC Media Excellence Award. It was well known that he was "gracefully" going to leave after the 24-25 season... until he decided he wasn't. That put a lot of strain on the athletic department when multiple times - at the last minute - he couldn't do games and they had to scramble for replacements this season.

Decisions need to be made for people at times. Another example of our athletic department always waiting until something hits bottom to finally make a decision

If 2026-27 is like last season, Tim needs to go.
