ringneck28 Posted May 22, 2015 Author Posted May 22, 2015 This fact would go all the way back to Joe Brown Quote
ringneck28 Posted May 22, 2015 Author Posted May 22, 2015 BTW, someone needs to go the the wiki page and get the first section corrected. Â It still states Hak as the head coach. Quote
The Sicatoka Posted May 22, 2015 Posted May 22, 2015 If the "odd man out" would've been Rube Bjorkman the answer would be "all have winning records at UND". Quote
The Sicatoka Posted May 22, 2015 Posted May 22, 2015 Hak shoots right; Blais shoots left; that ain't it. Â Quote
Shawn-O Posted May 22, 2015 Posted May 22, 2015 If the "odd man out" would've been Rube Bjorkman the answer would be "all have winning records at UND".  Joe Brown is on record at 1-2 .333  ...and the fact that this goes back to Brown but he coached precisely 3 games in three years is confusing....but I'm easily confused. Quote

siouxrunner Posted May 22, 2015 Posted May 22, 2015 Every coach since Thorndycraft has had players go on to the NHL, but not every coach before Thorndycraft, so that isn't it. Quote

ringneck28 Posted May 22, 2015 Author Posted May 22, 2015 Again, another little known fact that only Norm would know, Quote
homer Posted May 22, 2015 Posted May 22, 2015 They all coaches a team that appeared in a nation title game? Quote
ringneck28 Posted May 22, 2015 Author Posted May 22, 2015 They all coaches a team that appeared in a nation title game? Your on the right page, but not every coach appeared in a national title game Quote
ringneck28 Posted May 23, 2015 Author Posted May 23, 2015 The answer is they have all coached and won 1 less championship than they coached in. Â So for all that didn't make it to the championship game, that holds true too. Â It may seem cheesy but there has never been a coach that has won every championship game he coached. Quote

ringneck28 Posted May 23, 2015 Author Posted May 23, 2015 Yeah, it is an offseason type of reach. Â My game is off a bit right now. Quote
Big A HG Posted May 23, 2015 Posted May 23, 2015 I'm still confused over the thread title... Â Each has lost one title game is an easier way to put it. Â Hakstol 0-1 Blais 2-1 Gasparini 3-1 May 1-1 etc. Â Those who didn't coach in a title game still count by the way he worded it. Â Thorndycraft was 1-0. Â Â Hakstol continued that trend. Quote

ringneck28 Posted May 23, 2015 Author Posted May 23, 2015 But isn't "Hakstol continue tradition" a little like "Og make fire" in terms of using proper English? i'm surprised that it took mafia this much time to correct it. I couldn't figure out how to correct the thread title. Â Quote

I couldn't figure out how to correct the thread title.Well, it's not nearly as bad as my "Chris Gomez" baseball thread title last summer...I'll hit the "correction button" for you: "HEY SICATOKA, CAN YOU CORRECT THE THREAD TITLE PLEASE?" .
