ringneck28
This fact would go all the way back to Joe Brown
ringneck28
BTW, someone needs to go the the wiki page and get the first section corrected. Â It still states Hak as the head coach.
The Sicatoka
If the "odd man out" would've been Rube Bjorkman the answer would be "all have winning records at UND".
The Sicatoka
Hak shoots right; Blais shoots left; that ain't it. Â
Shawn-O
If the "odd man out" would've been Rube Bjorkman the answer would be "all have winning records at UND".  Joe Brown is on record at 1-2 .333  ...and the fact that this goes back to Brown but he coached precisely 3 games in three years is confusing....but I'm easily confused.

Yes, Joe Brown busts that.

siouxrunner
Every coach since Thorndycraft has had players go on to the NHL, but not every coach before Thorndycraft, so that isn't it.

ringneck28
The answer is they have all coached and won 1 less championship than they coached in. Â So for all that didn't make it to the championship game, that holds true too. Â It may seem cheesy but there has never been a coach that has won every championship game he coached. MafiaMan
I'm still confused over the thread title...
Big A HG
I'm still confused over the thread title... Â Each has lost one title game is an easier way to put it. Â Hakstol 0-1 Blais 2-1 Gasparini 3-1 May 1-1 etc. Â Those who didn't coach in a title game still count by the way he worded it. Â Thorndycraft was 1-0. Â Â Hakstol continued that trend.
